i will not get into banned part not my field, wouldnt it be prudent to remove that
pinned thread of proxy section posting rules
and have it replaced by a pinned rule post of a respected active mod/admin. ?

sends out the wrong kinda signal the rules for that section is layed
down by a banned former mod. just a thought.

Yes, I agree with you about banned members not representing the forum. The other mods/admins and I actually had a discussion on this back in February.

As a result, some of the formerly problematic sticky threads (e.g., banned members, outdated info, or both) have already been cleaned up or removed. However, while threads like the one in the URL you shared are definitely queued for clean up, they require one of us to take the time to re-write the rules and consider any new rules which should be added in.

proxy lists are meant just that not urls to said sites.
