MicroVPN

Beware of this company. I've used them in the past but let my account lapse. Recently I renewed a VPN account and bought 2 addons.

Well they have locked down the servers turning off ports so the service doesn't work right any more. The didn't have the courtesy to post this online.

I've been asking for a refund for days now with no response. So I went to PayPal for it. PP ruled in their favor because of a very vague policy statement.

I worked with their support for 4 days to resolve the problems - you can no longer receive gmail using Outlook through their service. Skype is sketchy, Google constantly asked for captch and it drops every 8-12 minutes.

With all the problems they still refused a refund. I just don't get it!

Gmail probably has flagged that MicroVpn's IP range because of too much activity or potentially abuse...

Skype is sketchy due to either limited bandwidth or high latency..

The whole senario looks like MicroVpn has been oversubscribed and I think they should upgrade their servers.

We have 0 tolerance for spammers!
Clients can use our trial account or ask for refund, but we don't refund if our SPAM policy has been broken!
Outgoing Port 25 is closed by default, but gmail IMAP and Secure SMPT port is active.
Most of the rules are imposed by the USA ISP's.
Servers in Netherlands, Russia or Romania, are unblocked.

It's quite amazing the amount of threads kicking about talking about a company and then within a blink of an eye they've got a representative here in our very forum to reply. Uncanny.
