The AI arms race between tech titans is heating up, and Microsoft and OpenAI are gearing up for an absolute behemoth of a project. The partners plan to build a massive US-based data center codenamed "Stargate" that could have an 12-figure price tag.

The Information reports that Microsoft and OpenAI are in the early planning stages for an enormously ambitious new AI supercomputer installation. Unnamed sources state executives peg the budget at $100 billion for the US-based facility, which could house millions of cutting-edge AI chips.

FInally I won't have to ask to scrape popular black hat website as openAi will do that for me.

4 years to get my Hollywood movies based on popular black hat forum produced.

My movie would show all the scenarios and methods in practice in cinematic way.

The name they choose is pretty interesting, and probably has something to do with their ambitions.

The fact that it's named after a SCI-FI tv show, alludes to the fact that they want to make many things that were once science fiction a reality. Also since the Stargate is a portal, it is hinting at a "portal" to a new world.

Portal to new ego systems. They try to build another prison system.

Enjoy your laws on abusing AI in 20 years. :)

You will be put into virtual custody for not obeying AI rules.

Pandora's box was opened long ago.

As a 30-year-old, I might witness some of these developments come to fruition, but the real deal is the kind of world in which my grandchildren might live in. scary & fascinating.
