MS Team & Skype vs Google Chats/Meets
Google chats > Teams honestly, Teams is shit, slow and buggy
While skype is just an outdated piece of useless crap that causes more issues than anything.
While Meet feels still to lacking but with the duo/chat/meet/hangout integration that problem probably will be resolved.

MS Contacts vs Google Contacts
Well, MS doesn't have a "MS Windows phone" anymore, so lolololol
At least google contacts can be seamlessly sync to your google powered android

yeah it died cuz it was bad, and noone wanted it cuz it was bad

MS Outlook Vs Google Gmail
Honestly up for debate really, they both steal your data. As @bartosimpsonio mentioned serveral times, if you are serious about IM, you would go somewhere else if you care about your emails privacy, afterall you are trying to "gain" from Google itself (rankings/ads/sites etc).

MS Drive Vs Google Drive
I probably give it to MS here since you have a "Vault" drive, which can double up as a second layer of protection.
I found google drive super annoying to clean up and delete stuff, and files within a folder gets lost in the "archives" when you delete the folder directly (which still takes your storage space)
while MS is much simpler.

MS Photos vs Google Photos
Well MS doenst have photos so rip

MS Calendar vs Google Calendar
I really loathe MS calendar for several reasons, i find it very uneasy to organize between all the shitshows notetaking apps they have (notes/tasks/to do)
Google Calendar is just a much easier to use and view package while keeping majority of the complexity

MS 2FA vs Google 2FA
lets be real, both are shit, real shit
don't even bother with it, go authy or aegis or something else as a backup.
MS can only backup via cloud on 1 type of OS, so no cross platform syncing
while google's backup is pretty much a hit or miss, so yeah, both are crap

MS Notes/todo/task vs Google Keep/Tasks
Well, Notes is real good but its has desync issues half the time you use it during a collab or use cross platform, let's not forget how laggy it is too.
While google keeps is just for quick sticky notes style which they dont have an app. so honestly both are pretty shit
neither are encrypted either, but then again, I don't expect much from these two privacy stealing companys.
I personally use keeps for quick notes and since google task is properly integrated with their calendar, it's quite easy to use.

MS Bing vs Google Google
While bling is an utter failure, let's just skip this one.

So yeah, there is no real "MS" dominates google or the other way around really
they have apps they excel is, they have apps where we users will actively use, but there are others where it's just terribad and we find alternatives outside these two giants.

For me, I still use both MS and Google apps
I stopped my MS subscription however (since I dont need it anymore) and lowered my googles sub to a cheaper subscription

In my experience, Microsoft excels Google as far as creating good software is concerned.
