Hi,

I have read the 100k adsense blueprint v3 and it insisted that google's recent updates do not like "single-keyword-focused" websites anymore and that microniche websites are getting all gradually de-indexed and don't rank as well as google.

My question is if that is true and if anyone is still making lots of money from microniche websites because -for me- they are much easier to carry and manage than these "Authority" websites the 100k adsense blueprint promotes.

I'll be thankful if anyone helps me make my final decision.

Bye :)

100K adsense blueprint has gone down hill recently. He made a good blueprint ages ago but his latest one is kinda meh. To put simply google does not like thin sites but that does not mean you cannot rank those sites. It is a lot easier to make those sites but to make a decent amount you will need a lot of those sites rank for various keywords. With a large authority site you can make a lot more just looking after one site but it requires a lot of maintenance, content and if it gets de indexed or hacked your screwed.

So in short pick your poison. They both have advantages and disadvantages it all comes down to what you as a person would prefer. Though if you are going authority you should not rely on google entirely, set up social media and start a mailing list.

That's a very good answer thank you.

I am looking for more opinions please.

micro niches are still working, trust me. you just don't have to focus on one keyword only. yeah, it's a mns, but you can vary keywords a little and say the same thing but with different terms. once you get it ranked up, you can see what you can add to your website (related products, topics, books etc). don't put all your eggs in one basket

MNS isn't what it used to be - having a small niche site now usually means 10-30 high quality articles, but it's worth the effort as well. However, I would recommend you go with an authority site.
