I need a regular stream of upvotes but can't risk the account getting flagged for manipulation. About 10 threads a month, each needing about 50 upvotes and some comments. I am considering microgig sites instead of using the dedicated upvote panels. I expect it will cost more but I assume has a lower risk of being flagged by Reddit's system. Good or bad plan? Any experience to share? Thanks

Yeah, microgigs seem safer if you pick quality users slower but more natural engagement overall.

If you are concerned with being flagged, then you shouldn't do any manipulation. These companies have TBs of data and analysis on what goes into someone that is spamming.
I got the exact specifications from a drawing I done you want. So my advice is buy a tablet to draw on, trace things that "conveniently" have your website links in fun places on the drawing.
Most people can't be assed spending 1-3 days full time drawing an image from ai, and that instantly puts you ahead of other content creators. If you draw really cool images, and share them every so often in different sub reddits, then you'll have no problem with your creations not being marked as spam, and you'll get what you want in terms of votes and comments from good art work.

It can work if done super carefully, but honestly, even microgig sites are risky—Reddit’s smarter than most people think.

I don't understand some sellers offer right here upvotes and was working good at least for me like DR reddit i believe was his service. .... they may be more sellers but i dont think microworkers will give better results as they are peoples who may not even have a reddit account and they will create now one new....

I've personally had a great experience with SproutGigs. They provide real freelancers followers, and there you can create customized microjobs (not just follows and that's it)
Personally, I only direct the job to experienced users, with some Karma (at least 5), I avoid new accounts and specify a low "speed" time to get the likes more naturally and not get all the likes all at once. This has worked well for me on Reddit mainly!

20% use shadow-banned accounts, mostly without realising it, so will still expect payment. this obviously wastes your valuable time explaining to them that they are indeed banned and risks you getting banned from whatever microworker platform you're using as they will report you for not receiving payment.
10% might have legit, aged accounts with some karma, but by the time they upvote/comment, your post will already be buried amongst other posts.

tried it with about 100 workers on a few occasions. most don’t read the rules and most don’t even know their account is shadowbanned, which is frustrating. enforcing the rules is also very time consuming.

Honestly, the safest approach is to get real discussions going in the right subreddits. Paid engagement always has risks, even with microgig workers.

Build a page that checks if their reddit accounts are fine. Basically you create a field where they enter their reddit profile url so your page can check if they are shadowbanned or if they have enough karma. When they click on "check" after submitting their url your site display a straight yes or no answer so they know if they can apply or not.
