Chanced upon quite a few micro niche sellers in the marketplace that claims that their keyword can bring up to $5000/month.

They are selling a micro niche website + content + keyword for just $30.

Qn is, why would they even sell it for $30 if they can make $5k?

Are all micro niche sellers just pulling a fast one?

Sometimes it's estimated value, Maybe they're saying it can earn up to 5k.

If I can get $100/month from adsense and amazon affiliates, i would definitely not sell the site for $30.

Yup, most definitely a fast one. It is an ideal service for those who don't read the fine print or don't want to learn niche and keyword research and are in there imaginary land of internet riches.

You would probably need to invest more anyway to keep the site going

When something is too good to be true most of the time its a dream

There might be 2 different scenarios:

1. They don't know how to rank the sites or they don't want to bother with it. They are good at keyword research and building websites (which can be outsourced for cheap anyway), so the ranking is up to you. Also, you need to spend more money if you want to rank the keywords, so it doesn't just take $30 to make $5k/month.

2. Their figures are made up for marketing purposes, which is the case in most of the threads. No one can measure exactly how much profit you can make even if you are #1 in search results - it depends on a lot of things: your sales copy, your affiliate program, user experience, CTR, etc... It takes a lot of testing and building multiple websites in a niche to get an average figure and each niche is different from the other. I don't believe the sellers have tested every niche out there, so 9 times out of 10, it's a trick to lure noobs in who don't know the industry any better.

Word of advice, don't waste your time on those websites. You can just buy those kinds of keywords on here for $5 and make the site yourself because that's the quality you're getting.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is.. My apologies for ruining this for you.

Yeah seems attractive. But by that logic, if some rich kid has $1K to spare, he could easily buy about 30 of those sites each with $5k revenue monthly. That would mean by spending $1K, he's getting a monthly revenue of 150,000? Just by purchasing? This is Planet Earth with a population of 7bn people with countless business. Do you really think companies would still exist if that was really the case? There's a saying - There is always a fool in a deal, no matter what it is. If you cannot find the fool, then it's you.

Everything takes work, they are saying it could make $5k profit a month after months/years of link building and growing your site. They are providing the base.

First of all I hate sellers who have things like earn up to $5000 per month with MNS. Its just unrealistic. Secondly, yes some keywords can earn you a good regular income, but, it depends how you would monetize and it would also depend upon your ability to rank and keep them ranking.
