micro niche sites in 2015

Hi guys,

I'm an passive income seeker. Day In | Day Out.

Most of the money I make online is not really passive (CPA + PPC => I have to monitor my stats and find winners => daily work; digital products => daily work; dropshipping => daily work, and so on...)

So you get my point... I have a lot of work, everyday! :O

I'm fairly interested in the area of niche sites or better said => micro niche sites and read a lot about that topic. Some people say that this type of websites (mostly monetized with AdSense or Amazon) is dead! Other say it is possible and they make between 100$ and 200$ per month with only one site (!).

So I'd like to know what is true and what is not? (Are micro niche sites still work?) And is the work really that small for one micro niche site? Are those sites selling well?

If anyone can give me any guideline, blueprint, link to one of those two on how to set up successfully micro niche sites, I really would appreciate that!

MNS sites used to have 1 or 2 posts. Now people consider MNS sites to be way more than that so it depends what's your definition. If you have a 1 page site, your not going to show on Google most likely. Don't bother.

That's my intention! Creating a One - Page mns with only one article on it (around 3.000 words) which targets only one keyword.

You don't think there is a way to rank such sites quick in Google?

You can definitely rank a one page site, but the ones I've done have more like 5k + words. Basically, you have to make sure that the page covers every single blessed thing about the topic. Plenty of images/videos/things to entice people to stick around for a while. If you set up it up with a Table of Contents and target longtails in the headings and subheadings you rank the individual sections too.

The definition of MNS is changing all the time, and the standards are stricter and stricter, but you can definitively make good money with a mns, and i am not talking just between 100-200$ per month, but easily over $1,000+ per month with any decently chosen keyword, as long as you are able to rank it number 1. I actually have a hard time finding keywords that can give you only 100-200$ per month if you are number 1, all i see are keywords that can easily pull upwards of $1,000 per month if you do it properly - meaning targetting all the long tails associated with the main keywords.

I found a amazon niche site or MNS (I don't know how to differ those two) on the web with just a One-Page! The Page has an ~5k words article on them with a table of content... How the product works, What are the best products out there, Comparison tables between the top 5 products in this niche, and a few YT videos. That's all! This site ranks on rank 1 for a kw (I think it's the main keyword because the full article does not target long-tails) with a search volume of over 30.000/p.m. That's huge!

So what do you guys think... How long will it take to rank such a site where no real competition exists and with basic On/Off Page SEO.

with the information I've got from this thread, I think I'm able to rank only 1 kw with an 3k article and a few social backlinks.

I will start a journey and let you guys know how I'm doing!
