First of all I want to say that I am no expert in micro niche sites. There will be quite a bit of information in this thread that is posted all over this forum, but I have seen a few threads that could use this.

I see people are taking action, but they are not doing research before they jump in or they don't know what they are doing when they do the research. This thread is for the people that are taking action "My hat is off to you", but they are not 100% sure what they are doing.

1 - When you are doing your research you need to find a keyword/keywords that get (in my opinion) at least 2,000 searches per month. You will want this to be in the "EXACT" searches.

If you do not understand the difference in "Exact" "Phrase" ""Broad" Please read this - https://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/answer.py?hl=en&ctx=tltp&answer=6324

That is from the source. The big G explains what the difference in those types of searches is. You want the exact searches.

I use many different tools when I am doing keyword research.
My favorite is MS - You can get it for Free at the link below.

HIT THE THANKS BUTTON - YOU DO NOT NEED TO SAY THANKS IN A THREAD, JUST HIT THE THANKS BUTTON. POSTS DON'T EVEN COUNT IN THE DOWNLOAD SECTION ANYWAYS.

There are also some other tools that you can use, like micro niche finder, and some others. I like micro niche finder for it's brainstorm mode. As for everything else I use MS.

If you can not afford MNF or any other tools, you can do everything you need for completely free.

Finding a niche - with no software.
    1. Clear all of your history on your browswer.
    2. Go to google
    3. Type in any letter in the search bar. "A" "B" Etc. Google will give you a list of the most popular searches starting with "A".
    4. I like to open up a notepad and type in all of the searches google gives me and then put them in MS, but you can also use google keyword tool.
    5. You are looking for something with between 2,000 and 5,000 exact monthly searches.

Build a list of these keywords. I like to have about ten to twenty.

Now we are going to use MS and figure out the competition. If you do not know how to use MS, there are videos that will teach you.

You are looking for keywords from your list that have minimum competition. I will post a picture later of what this looks like. I am on my laptop right now, and MS is on my desktop. It is very simple though, because MS is color coded. Green means easy.

Now assuming that we have found a keyword with good search volume and easy competition we are ready to move on.

"I WILL CLEAN THIS UP AND MAKE IT A LITTLE EASIER TO READ LATER"

So we are ready to find a domain. You need to find a domain that has the keyword in it. If you have to add a word to the end of the keyword to be able to purchase it that is ok, just make sure the keyword is in the domain.

If you need help with this, please pm me. I will do my best. There is also a lot of information on this in the forum. Use the search function.

I use godaddy for the domain. I know a lot of people don't like godaddy, but I have a trick to it. This is my trick.

Purchase the domain at godaddy, with the cheapest hosting. I think it is $4.95 and with the hosting you get the domain for $.99 I think. So you have invested like $6.00.

Why do I do this? Because when you purchase a hosting account with godaddy you get advertising credits for Google and Facebook.

Now I don't host my sites on there. I have a reseller account on hostgator. After the first month I just let it not go to the trash. But it is worth it for the credits to me. It is also cheaper then purchasing a domain outright.

Now we have our domain and hosting.

We are ready to build our site. I am not going to go through onsite SEO but I will help you out a bit. You need to check out the following thread. If you have any questions about your SEO - Post it in that thread. People are very helpful when you show that you are taking action.

You can find any other information you need in the following two sections

    White Hat SEO

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f28-black-hat-seo/

If you can not find the information you are looking for, start a new thread clearly stating that you are asking a question in your title. Then ask your question in your thread. !!! Make sure that you search and can not find your answer before you start a new thread.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------
After you have your site built you are going to need to start building links to your site. I personally use services on this forum. I also do somethings myself, but outsourcing is always easier.

    Outsourcing -
    Xrumer Backlink Service - My Favorite - $5.00 for 500 backlinks. http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-engine-optimization-services-cheap-gets.html

Scrapebox type service - My Favorite -

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...uality-backlinks-pr1-pr9-cheapest-around.html

For Fresh Content - You can write your own articles, or have someone on here do it for you for cheap.

There are also other places where you can hire your own virtual assitant to help you with link building and writing.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

Now you should have a site that has 2,000 to 5,000 searches per month. You also should build backlinks to this site and build it up in the serps.

I hope that this has helped some people on here. I will come back to this and re-write it more organized soon.

If you have any questions post them in this thread so everyone can benefit from the answers.

So you build Xrumer links directly to fresh websites on new domains? I would like to know your experience with this, as the common knowledge is you're gonna get sandboxed
