Hey fellow BHWers,

I just looked through the forum on keyword research and micro niche sites. I found a keyword with 2,000 exact searches/day and the competition wasn't too bad on G. The exact domain name was also available so I secured that as well.

I have a question regarding my next steps. I know I'm supposed to write a few articles and start linkbuilding, but can anyone provide me with any specifics? (length of post, how many posts, should I have the keyword in title?) I have a pretty good idea on what I need to do, but I don't want to mess this up so any words of advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance! :)

The best lessons are those learned from failure.

Now go fail and learn, instead of wasting time asking for advice you probably all ready know.

well if failure could be prevented, id much rather fail later on than early on. :) but i def. appreciate the response.

anyone else have anything to add?

Yes 2k exact searches per day? That wont be a micro niche im afraid.
Im sure you mean 2k exact per month right?

sorry i meant 2k per month! any guidance would be appreciated!

HI Aaron,

What are you trying to do and what is your business? I work with a design and seo company that specializes in micro niche sites. We work to educate prospective entrepreneurs on how to start your own adult website business. Ask any questions you have and I will certainly answer. Sometimes I might be busy but will get back to you with the best advise i have. Certainly don't want you to fail first and then succeed. Seems a bit backwards. My own opinion. no offense meant.

I am assuming you meant 2k searches a month because if you found a keyword that gets 2k a day with low competition then you have found yourself a gold mine. Anyways to answer your question

I am no expert but I can tell you what I am doing and what seems to be working for me.

I usually start with a 500 word or more article for my home page which is static (Assuming you are using word press). Always use the keyword you are trying to rank for in the title. Use it at least once in the beginning and once in the end of the article. I do not use the same keyword for every post page.

For a brand new site I usually build a home page and start on one post for my post page. Then I continually add new content weekly or daily depending on how busy I am. Sometimes I write several posts in one day and set it to publish every few days or every week.

Continue adding fresh content whenever possible and building backlinks. Backlinks are essential for the success of a website. Once you have the desired ranking you are pretty much done. Some sites do not need any maintenance while others will require continual maintenance to sustain ranking; however, from my experience a niche site will require virtually no maintenance.

Hope this answers a few of your questions.

jonnyxboi: thanks, this is exactly what i'm looking for. Since I have the exact domain name, can i just use 'keyword phrase' as my first static post? For the secondary posts, what should the topics be on, just variations of my main keyword? For building my backlinks, should i use the exact keyword as the anchor text, or should i mix it up with variations? appreciate the help!!!

ebonysays: thanks for the response! do you do non-adult sites? can you email me at my bhw username at gmail dot com?

Thanks All!!

thanks everyone! i'm diving right in...

Hey, I want to learn building micro niche too. But right now, I'm stuck with searching and searching most valuable keywords for myself.

About your keyword with an with 2,000 exact searches/month, I want to know if you are targeting only on adsense or for an affiliate program?

My humble opinion is - When you build a Micro Niche Site do NOT put the adsense and affiliate links right from the day one. I normally wait for a month - yes a month. after a month I place the adsense ads and I get relatively higher CPC ads in my site.

zaithyn: i plan on using adsense only

thanks twisted.
