Hi fellow Blackhatters , i have just purchased a micro niche sites service. So yeah , they have sent me the keyword list and ask me whether i would like to proceed with the site creation. The searches for the keyword are between 1k-9k searches a month. Obviously i would like these keywords to rank well in the future, but how am i suppose to identify whether the keywords they chosen for me are good? I want to double check the competition so that i wont regret choosing these keywords. Is there anyway to check it? Can someone enlighten me? As this is my first time buying micro niche sites. Thanks in advance !

Hopefully someone can help me out here ! Really looking forward to earning some $$ from micro niche sites !

Thanks !

I actually used seo quake in firefox to identify the page rank for my keywords in google's first page.

I realize that most of my keywords ( without quotations ) have competitive pages that have PR that ranges from 1-5 on google's first page . Almost 6 of my keywords given by them have similar high page rank competitive pages in page 1.

1) Am i doing it wrong? Should i include quotations when i identify the competitor's website's page rank?
2) Or are the keywords just not good enough.
3) From what i know if the first page of google has competitive websites that have a very high page rank ( PR 1 -5 ) , it will take a very long time for me to outrank them...Am i right?

Can someone please help me here ! Thanks !

Don`t look only on the PR of other sites, check out there inbound links, domain age,DMOZ,Yahoo directory,Indexed pages etc...,try market samurai,it`s really good, and it`s free for 14day.

So i just insert my keyword into market samurai and it would help me identify whether my keyword is good or not?

Anyways , do high page rank sites on google's first page generally means that newly built sites needs alot of effort to rank well?

Its really frustrating knowing that i still need to bother about the keywords even though i paid for the service. But i guess once im done with the keyword choosing , all i need to worry is about the SEO.

If you still need help on keywords - Traffic Travis free version has a nice module to check the strength of your top 10 or 20 competitors. I'd definitely recommend it, especially since it's free.
