Micro Niche or Large Sites

Hi Guys,

What is better, Micro Niche Sites such as you buy the specific domain and rank for it, or Larger Authorty Sites were you simply build a sub page.

Ive only ever made micro niche sites so far but I bought a 2nd hand domain that was 12 years old made a sub page and its already ranking 11th for a term that took me a year to rank 1st for with a micro niche site.

What do you believe is better?

Both works, larger sites are better in general. However micro niche sites are much easier but you wont make close to the money you can make with large sites.

Just finished reading XFactor ver 2.0 and I believe there's no doubt bigger authority sites are easier to maintain and probably more profitable in the long run. And.. Nobody prevents mixing both approaches, that's what I'm doing now.
