Methods to play pre-recorded stream?

Hello!

I'm not sure if this is the right section of the forum- I hope so

I have a some video files with recordings from myself that I want to stream on a website. I do not have much knowledge about online broadcasters on websites and video media encoders but I'm trying to learn.

Are there people here who also stream pre-recorded videos (maybe in e-whoring?). What program do you use for this?

I have a website where I know the traffic well. If I can manage to stream my recordings at certain hours I def can pull out some income from there. But on this website I couldn't find any FMS URL or Stream URL. So this is where I;m stuck at the moment.

How do people do this?

I'm a little bit further in finding a way to fetch the Stream URL from a video stream on a website --> with Wireshark

anyone familiar with this method? I just downloaded the program

Open Broadcaster + Media Player Classic or even VLC, you can edit everything to look like stream by adding fancy counters, pre-recorded talking tom or another character facecam (google for it), then capture from the source... Done!

EDIT: You can't stream from vps unless you have unlimited bandwidth. (Which is painful to afford)

Thank you so much for your reply. I tried VLC to test the URLs I got but none of them were working.

Now I found a different, easier, method- I just use Manycam to act as a virtual webcam while I play my pre-recorded camshow in Manycam. The only problem is my laptop's power but I will try this with a better PC when I can

it's very easy to do.

Grab your FMS's and Key then Open OBS > Put in FMS & KEY > Start streaming

EDIT: You can buy Streaming RDP for $17 P/M and stream on it everything you want with 100/100 internet speed.
