I'm almost 18 years old, I have a good knowledge of HTML, CSS and I'm currently trying to learn jQuery.

I'm also good at the financial side of business and don't specifically want to make money from creating websites - I'd be happy to buy and sell products. Having said this, I don't really have much to invest into any ventures to begin with, so unless there are any low cost items that spring to mind I don't think it'll be the way forward for me.

I know this is extremely unlikely as people are secretive, and rightly so, with their methods; but could someone please suggest some methods that may allow me to start generating some income?

    Thanks!

It's not up to people to suggest things that would work well for you, it's up to you to read and find methods that appeal to you. Even with a description of your thoughts and talents, it's 100% up to you to find what feels right.

Read on the many different methods here and then put ONE into action - and then learn from it. If it worked, even a little bit, refine it and then scale it up.

We won't spoon feed you here - you have to learn on your own - but if you have questions on how to do stuff, then many others will often help or give advise.

Look into affiliate marketing. You can make a nice landing page and promote, say clickbank products.

If you want to buy low sell high, do some Fiverr reselling.
Getting traffic if the hardest part, but if you think you can sell then you should definitely try it.

Here's a thread for the topic:

Thanks for the replies guys, I've done individual responses below.

Thanks for that, I'll have a read through it and get back to you with any questions I may have. Seems pretty well written and straight-forward so I might not have any!

I gathered people wouldn't really be willing to make suggestions and really made this thread on a whim - I'm not looking for any winning formula as I know there isn't one, everything takes hard work and effort. I just wanted to get some suggestions as base methods to use and improve upon.

I think you got the wrong end of the stick, maybe I could have worded it a little bit better.

I was simply listing my situation and skills, I was only stating that I didn't think that making websites would be the way forward for me - as you guys have said previously, it's about finding the method that works best for me.

I just didn't want to end up ploughing hours on end into a website and get no return from it at all - I've done that too many times and don't particularly enjoy coding even if it is something I'm alright at.

Thanks for the simple reply, it's more helpful than you may think. When you say promote clickbank products you mean promote them as opposed to sell them, right? Both are options on the ClickBank homepage and this isn't something I've looked into before.
