What about Blogger ? Do you think we can do this with Blogger free hosting/domains and get same impact ?

I'm not sure what you're asking? You can send pinterest traffic to any web property. I choose my own domains because it looks more professional, and private/paid hosting because it allows me more control over the site. A free host is liable to put ads all over your site and web 2.0 properties like Blogger force a subdomain instead of a root domain. I've seen plenty of Web 2.0 properties though, especially Tumblr and Blogger.

I never tried pinterest seriously but a couple of months ago I created a bot for following/ unfollowing , used it for a week or so and forgot about it. I just checked that account and the number of followers have increased a little bit. I would like to know your opinion about this strategy :

1)set my bot to follow 300 users and then clean cookies / new ip
2) then will move into another account and follow another 300 users , doing this during 24/7, using plenty of accounts
3) every account will have on the profile page a blogspot.com redirected to a main domain. accounts will just have 1 board each with few pins.

Do you think this could work without sending pins ? Is there any traffic from people that check the profile of the person who just followed them?

You have the right idea! Following doesn't really get you followers on Pinterest, at least not as much as commenting and sharing.

just a question.
when you create a new account to pinterest,is it able to post to group boards immediately or it's pins show up in the feed after some weeks?
if you go in the group board you can see the pin but is it visible on the home page of group board members?

I have never tried Pinterest before but were there any strict changes carried out my their site as far as advertising goes in the past 6-8 months?

Had a solid course on Pinterest and thank god retrieved it from my laptop....thats why asking but need to figure out myself...

Great post dude. I am in the pinterest game and your post will help a lot of people. It is not until you build several sites with good content you really see earnings shoot up. Also having a business mind set and not a spammer one is a must.

Is no secret that I'm releasing my software soon, I even mention it in my OP. This thread is about getting started with pinterest though -- there seemed to be some misconceptions and no real methods posted yet, so here it is. You can build bots with imacros of you want to get your automation started, that is what I did before I got serious about it.

The niches I posted above are really the best to work with.

That being said, many marketers believe in creating a market. In SEO, a lot of marketers will find a niche with zero competition and very little traffic, then create a product for it and be number one from the beginning for keywords for that product. If you apply the same method to Pinterest, you could be the first to have video game group boards and eventually have the biggest boards. It's more long-term, and I'm not sure how effect video games will be in a market that is mostly women, but times are changing and more and more women are into gaming, so who knows!

Hey, so which conversion method accounts for most of those 5k you make? I see 99% of people on pinterest use adsense, but I'm testing other methods as I hate adsense and would never ever use it. I get about a hundred or so visits from pinterest and have been playing around with clickbank, currently without success.

What's so terrible about adsense? If you must avoid them, then there are other CPM networks as said.

Clickbank, like most CPA offers, really only works with great sales copy. You could turn your whole blog into articles specifically about the offer with calls to action within the blog posts.

I don't want to talk about my bot on this thread too much, so let me just end it here by saying that it's slated for April 30th release date and you can sign up through my signature, so do that if you're really interested.

Now let's get back to Pinterest marketing....

Here is another important way of utilizing pinterest traffic that I can't add to my original post because I can't edit it anymore..

[Landing Pages]

In every marketing niche, landing pages are key. They draw in either sales or leads and the conversion happens only if and when the traffic is already interested before they get to the page. I cannot stress that enough. They simply won't buy or sign up if they don't give a shit before they get there. Some marketers will disagree, but in my experience 90% of the time it's true. That's where it gets good with Pinterest...

With Pinterest, you have the unique ability to wet their appetite (literally, with the food niche!) before they click. If you look at it in terms of the photo being a summary of everything they want in the end, then it speaks your marketing for you: Delicious cookies require these ingredients, these pots and pans, and these special directions. If you want those directions, you have to pay for it (or click for it). Your photo brings them to your landing page, your landing page gives them the opportunity to make the delicious cookies:

DELICIOUS COOKIES PHOTO ===> DELICIOUS COOKIES INGREDIENTS ===> SIGN UP FOR DELICIOUS COOKIES DIRECTIONS

If you pepper your landing page with Amazon links for pots and pans and even ingredients (in some cases) along with a couple CPM ads and a lead capture before they get the directions, you've got 1, 2, 3 ways of banking on just ONE visitor.

And be creative.
You don't have follow my advice to a T, you could put your twist on it and bank even harder.
Stop looking for a spoon-fed method (like the one I just gave you!) and work on developing your plan for Pinterest domination!
