Methods shared on BHW [Case Studies]

Since BHW is flooded with so many methods that promise to earn a certain amount in certain amount of time and majority of the members left wondering about which ones to give a try and which are utter waste of time, I've decided that I'll give these methods a shot and share my experience on that particular method with you guys. I'll tell you what I did in order to make money and if some methods don't work out I'll tell you that. I'll let you know if I goof up even though the method is genuine. I've got nothing to gain by lying or bragging to you guys. I'm not pitching you any product nor am i putting ref links. So in a nutshell, this is going to be a COMPLETELY HONEST CASE STUDY of many of the methods shared on THIS VERY FORUM.

Before going further I'd like to state/clarify a few things-

1. I am a complete newbie. Although I've known about Internet Marketing for quiet some time now I haven't earned a dollar online. It wasn't until the recent times that I discovered BHW and became serious about making money online.

2.Considering the fact that I'm still a newbie I'm going to rum into many difficulties. I'll be needing the help of the experienced BHW members in order to move onwards. I don't ask to be spoon-fed or do ANY stuff for me. However, a few suggestions here and a little tip there may do wonders and help me to achieve my goals(If only I could put into words how much that help would mean to me.). I may ask some stupid questions occasionally during the initial phase. Please bear with me.

3. I don't have a particular amount set that i want to achieve in a particular amount of time. However, I do intend to make my first dollar in this month itself. Maybe I should reduce it to 15 days. 15 days it is then.

4.Things posted in this journal will be my personal experiences only and should not be taken to be ultimate truths or facts. You'll never know unless you try it out for yourself

I'll update this thread as often as possible and also put links to the methods that I'll be executing.

Having that said, I'm all preped and pumped up to make some good deal of moolah online. Haha. I don't see a reason why I wont if in put in the hard-work.
And even if I don't, I'm pretty sure I'll be walking away to tons of value and new experiences.

Starting from today I'll start executing these methods.

My honest advice is to not go with torrents. Nowadays they are strictly moderated, and if u try to cheat in anyway ur account gets banned and ur torrent deleted. Since it's a very saturated market, almost everything is submitted to approval first.

You will be all grey till you try all methods and post your verdict here. So how are you going to pick methods worth attention from all the garbage?
Considering the fact that the most money making methods are not instant, I think this will be the longest journey ever.

You are looking like a serious guy. If want to make money out of internet marketing, you should contribute at least 2 weeks to review methods and compare things.

I spent 3 weeks reviewing methods and reading online before starting to work.

I have compared methods using these categories:
* initial money investment to earn first $100/month
* initial daily time investment to earn first $100/month, and how this daily-spent-time is changing over time as I continue to raise my monthly earnings (I should put more time? less time?)
* stability - it was important for me to have a steady income
* can the earning process be automated? when this can be done (after X months?)
* if I can get 10 more people to do this job with me, I can raise the earnings by more than 10 times? if so - then I will get all my friends in!
* what are the pitfalls? what are the risks? what will happen in the worst case (spent time, spent money, etc)
* what is the learning curve of the method? how fast can you put it all together? do you familiar with this method?

For me the most important things are the automation, steady income, and be able to earn at least 3$k/month.
I also don't deal with methods which I don't know through.

rtraphic - I went through the thread and found out many guys having the same problem. Dropped the idea and will be doing Fiverr reselling now

I-Marketer - I go through the opinions of other members on a particular method . But at the end of the day my instinct is the only thing I trust considering the fact that half of them give their opinions without even giving the method a try. And yes, I am here for the long haul.

boberbrian - The only thing I am considering right now while picking out a method is the initial investment. I don't want to invest money into something I'm not sure will yield results
Besides, I have way too much time on my hand in the coming months. So I am not really worried about time investment or whether the process can be automated or not.

UPDATE 1
I set up a very basic website reselling a Fiverr gig which is for 100 PR6 to PR10 blog posts using Weebly.
Wrote a basic description of the service, added a contact form in case buyers have any queries and added a Paypal button to accept the orders.
When I tried to publish the site I got a error stating that I haven't verified my account. I tried verifying my account but couldn't do it so I contacted the support. I got a mail this morning stating :-


Your account was in violation of our Terms of Service. Because of this, your site was shut down and your account was disabled. Sorry this happened out of the blue. The ban cannot be reversed.

I went back to check what went wrong and tried verifying my site again. And lo and behold, it got verified. Haha.
They haven't taken down my site(yet). It's live. So I guess I might as well go ahead.


Basically I ended up wasting lot of time which I could have used instead to do something more. So I've decided that I'll take up a few more methods and do them simultaneously. So even if something goofs up while doing one I have other methods to go-to in the meanwhile. Getting maximum done in the minimum amount of time. I'll update the other methods later once I'm done selecting them.


Now comes the hard part :-


Leith ,while doing this method, used Scapebox blasts and chat box spamming to promote the site apart from promoting it in related forums.
Scrapebox-I researched a bit and found that Scrapebox is a paid tool used for building backlinks. I do not own the software neither do I know how to use it (Looks a bit complicated to me.) I thought of buying a Fiverr gig to do that for me but then considering Leith himself did not get much traffic from it I guess it's not worth it. I'll save my $5 for later.

Chat box spamming- The only site I know is xat and that is because he revealed it. I'll have to find some good and related chat box to spam. Could use a little help here.

Promoting on forums-This is the only method I could actually use right away. Don't worry, I won't do it on BHW. haha


So this brings me to the question. How do I get traffic to my site ?

Chat box and forum posting isn't enough. Besides that takes too much of time. I'll be doing them anyways. However, I need a solid method to drive traffic to the website. I found a gig on Fiverr for driving unlimited traffic to the site for a month. The traffic is real but not targeted. I guess,however, it may work. Please let me know if anybody has a better way of getting the traffic. I'll go ahead with the Fiverr gig if I don't find anything useful in 2 days.


In the meanwhile I'll select and start executing the other methods (Atleast 3 more.) I'll update them later.

UPDATE 2 -
Method 1 - Fiver Reselling
I've finished setting up the site for fiver reselling. However, I came up with an idea that might help me to squeeze in more people and get them to buy the service. Since I am going to buy non-targeted traffic my service won't be relevant to many of them. So I've decided to first give them some freebies first (just to get them interested and consider buying my service). So I guess, that'll take up a day more. + I found a few other live chats that might work
Also, I forgot to add contact form to my website. However,I want the user to be redirected to the contact form once he is done with the payment. Does anyone know how to do this ?

Method 2 - Job vacancies website/Adsense
Created job vacancies website using blogger. Basically, I want to integrate the site with adsense, add job vacancies on the site from classifieds and job sites and then spam my like on job related sites. However, Google has 6 month wait period for integrating your website with adsense if you are from India. Why ?
So I guess i cant move further into this unless someone (from a different country,of course) sets up a blogger account and integrates it with Adsense for me. Let me know if you can help me out here.

Method 3 - Amazon store
I have a dormant site lying around that I bought a year back which did not quiet well pan out. I've got about a month before it expires. Thought might as well put it to some use. Set up a Amazon store up on it selling Laptops and Mobiles. Then posted an ad on craiglist and quikr(Similar to CL.Based in India however.)and put my link below it.Most of my posts on CL got deleted. I got nearly 20-25 messages from people who were interested in buying laptops from quickr. There is a catch however. None of them were interested on buying it online. All of them wanted me to sell it to them in person. I called up a guy who owns an electronic store and told him I can get him a few customers if he is willing to give me a commission. Agreed. I know this is not exactly online but at the end of the day we are all here to make some money I guess.

Method 4- Mylikes
Registered and created an account on mylikes. Surfed around to get to know the whole thing a little better. I have a friend who created a fake girls account on FB long time back because he was bored . Called him up and checked whether he still remembered the ID and password. He did. Logged in and spammed the hell out of the account with some NSFW links because it was mostly full of some desperate dudes. I checked into my account to see the earning. Nothing. Thought maybe it is a scam. Checked in today and I had $0.01 in my earnings. Haha. So much for $0.01. But anyway it is my first earning that I've made online. Feels good I'll be thinking of methods to scale it up.

I've begun to wonder why , even after getting over 1000 views daily, am I not making any sale. Also my adsense earning are sh*t. I'm earning around $0.05 daily.
I did a bit of a research and found out that majority of people who sell traffic on Fiverr use bots. That pretty much explains the 95% bouncerate and no returning visitors. I should have know about this earlier. All this while I was tweaking my site and trying to make my sales copy more better. I should have just researched a bit more instead.Maybe, its time to change my strategy on how I drive traffic to my site.
