Methods of creating backlinks

I have tried different methods of creating backlinks, but only linkwheels works good for me. I'm aware that one day they won't work as good as they do and maybe won't work at all, so i try to find new methods of creating backlinks but i couldn't find any other working

I am desperate

Common man do abit of searching there are so many methods:
Create and post articles to top directories.
Do press releases
Angela's and pauls backlinks
blog commenting
and so on...

Easy way to get Back links

To test your links in Yahoo's Site Explorer, all you have to do is go to Yahoo's
Search Site. Then type in "linkdomain:yourdomain.com" and hit 'search'.

Count your back links. Then do same for other site which in top on google to relevant to your keywords.

Visite to each website which you will see in Yahoo's Site Explorer. You can see many back links from comment website and blogs. Try to submit your site as well. Use your main keyword in name while commenting with your website link.

Good way to create back links. Don't forget to hot thanks button

For few reasons it is not good solution too.

This could work, i had similar idea.

How much is domain name important? I seen website with bad SEO but it ranks good, only thing it have is 5 years old domain.

Have you tried .edu links? .edu links has more weight in the eyes of google.

What is your target to build this backlinks? Increase your pr? Or increase your traffic?
1.If you want to increase rank:
directory and article submission works so far. Angela backlinsk is good. Many people using them, but it doesnt matter cause they still provide you a quality backlinks
2. If you focus on traffic:
Write some quality articles and press release. A press release in google news or digg can give you a lot of genuine traffic
3.If you want both, beside link wheel and press release, have you done rss submission?
This will also help your pages to get indexed faster
