Hello guys,

Just a small contribution to offline seo entrepreneurs, it's a trick i'm using in my country and that works fine with small medium business. With firms it's a different deal.

Well it's a kind of refferal, I make 1 year SEO contract with my costumers, they have to renew it each year. Let say they pay 2000 euro / year the upcoming year they'll paye 2000 euro.

I mention in my contract a close saying starting from the 6th month (till the costumer see the results) the costumer can recommend us to other businesses. If he convince another business to do SEO and bring it to us he'll get 20% of what paid the new business as discount for his renewal.

Let say my costumer Business A pay 2000 euro/year
the business B (brought by A) have more competition and will paye 3000 euro/year
The costumer A will have to paye only 1400 euro instead of 2000 (3000 euro - 20%= 600 euro)

So if your costumers are satisfied by service they will think to renew every year, and would be happy getting lower price so they will try to bring you more compagnies and so on.

I just started adding this in contracts and it works fine. And the costumers base gets bigger. But don't use it with firms it won't work, it may work only if it's a holding or a group with many campagnies in it but still didn't test it on firms.

If this helps hit thanks ;)

Do you push that offer? Or do you let them "discover" it in the contract? And isn't 2000/year a little low for offline SEO? (Thanks btw, will use this or a twisted version.)

I push it for the old costumers (phone call), the new ones are informed during our meeting or call.
2000 is just the basic pack, my best costumer pays 16K euro each year (it's a big insurance company in here).
by the way I just learned (thanks google) that Firm in US can be a small company! When I said firm i was talking about big brands like AUDI, NESTLE, PHONE OPERATORS...

That's a great idea. I have a referral program for finding clients, but haven't created one for current clients. I'll have to try this.
