That is possible if do good SEO on the videos.You can promote the video if you wish.

Or maybe he's moved on to something else because he wasn't making anything from the channel. Or maybe he got that channel where he wants it and moved on to 10 other channels promoting different products. Or maybe he got a new job that doesn't give him enough time to do it. Or maybe he got bored with it. Or maybe he's dead. He could have stopped updating the channel for any number of reasons.
 
The thing is no one knows the line youtube have to consider a video a spam or not, unless you test and test and test and then you might know how to avoid that.

He might also have bought cheap views for ranking reasons .... not necessarily 171,000 views from REAL people

you are right, but a lots of Amazn asociates i know from 2-3 years ago using this method get banned, some of them got away but that another stories, the main points is don't use this method if you does not have a website and youtube channel in your amzn profile, why?

if you already have a website and has been added to amzn profile but that site just only have 3 pages/posts then dont use this method too, you get sell from a lots of thing, but your site just talking about how to get rid of neck pain, neck pain release etc.. does it looks more suspicious?

And if they send you an email(they do send email if your acc look suspicious) and asking where you get the traffics and want to see the medium you use in order to get the traffics, do you want to said to them that you use youtube and show to them your youtube channel with full of low quality slideshow videos? HELL NO...

If you asking me how to make a great slideshow video then my answer is go to youtube and search "Ezvid wiki".Look and learn from that channel.

I think the account that get away with Amz is because they register to Amazon associate with their Youtube account , not a website. So if you want it to really work without getting banned I think you need to get your YT account approved by Amazon associate

Making slideshows videos is not allowed anymore by YT algorithms?

but in op case if you video is a slideshow then you cannot direct link to aff page, to get away with it, you have to link to a landing page and the landing page can have the azon links...that is the way to do it...

OP you should just creat new channel, get moviemake, creat slideshow, get a free blogger page make a landing page and link to azon there.
i have taught this to new clients years ago and it worked for them for years.

I've been doing this for a month. No sales, may have been one order but it never counted. Clicks are low at 30 -50 per day. So i don't know. I'll keep it up for another month or 2, but after that i'll have to respectfully move on from this method

If you haven't made any Amazon commission after a month with 30 clicks a day on your affiliate links there's something very wrong.

I have one order now. This is a new Amazon affiliate account. My last one got closed because of not having enough orders in 180 days (started this method 20 days before my old account got closed).
I think i had 3 orders on there but never shipped. I saw my first order on the new account yesterday. So i don't know i'll keep grinding till april or may. if nothing moves by that time i'll have to respectfully move on.

360 videos and only 50 clicks a day? something is wrong there, i am betting that now every Tom, Dick, and Harry is doing these people are not interested in slide videos anymore, maybe you should step it up a Knoch and make more attractive videos, because your CTR is shit

Yeah it's complete crap. I made an order on an item I'm not even promoting. I'm gonna take the time to just make quality videos and focus more on ranking them rather than mass uploads. Hopefully that will bring better results.
