Let me start off by saying this is nothing new. This method is probably well known, I'm just giving my spin on it.
So I started a 9gag type of site in Wordpress last week. I set it up in such a way that almost everything is automated. This isn't the topic of this thread but here's a brief overview of what I did.
Anyways, that's how I set up the site. Now other than Facebook and Twitter, I needed other forms of traffic. Where did I look? Reddit of course.
The problem with Reddit is that if you aren't a Grand Wizard VIP, you can only post once every age. This can be solved fairly easily though using any one of a couple different methods. The first is to use an account creator like Account Creator Extreme, or you can use TOR. For the sake of simplicity, I chose the latter.
I simply started my TOR, made a Reddit account and posted the link to the post my image was on. Give it a stupid name like "I hate when this happens". Whatever, just make sure you post in the correct section otherwise you will be shunned for days. And that's basically it. Refresh your TOR and start again! I posted a grand total of 2 images today and 2 yesterday and I've gotten 300+ UVs from Reddit per day.
Feel free to improve on this method, or not be lazy like me and post more than 2 images per day, your traffic is pretty much endless if you have enough good pictures to post.

- Installed Automatic Featured Image Posts so that every image I upload is automatically made into a post. There's a setting in the plugin to make all posts into drafts. This important for the next plugin:
- Drafts Scheduler - Automatically publishes your drafts at a predefined time, 1 every hour for example. Very useful.
- Next I installed NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster to automatically post to my Twitter and Facebook pages every time a new post is published. See what I'm doing here. Automation for days.
