I used the search, and haven't seen this one mentioned anywhere. It's a free method that you can use to grab expired content, websites, or web2.0s. Manual method, maybe it can be automated, I just didn't care enough to think about it :)

Now as you know tons of people register each day on Pinterest, a good chunk of these people are 'personal' bloggers. Some of these blogs never take off, or they just get bored, swarmed with 9-5 work. In any case, let's say they have made a Pinterest and started posting, before abandoning the project for good. We will be looking for these sites, some of these are especially valuable as web2.0 is hard to find, so even if the domain is worthless, chances are, no-one has taken the content yet.

First, go to pingroupie.com/ and find group boards for your niche. Try to find ones that have 100+ members.

Second, open these groups on Pinterest and open the contributor list. Here you have each contributor more or less alphabetically listed (sometimes it's not alphabetical but no idea why), start opening each Pinterest account on new tabs.

They usually have a website on their profile, open the websites until you find one that's not opening: there you have your expired domain. Bonus points if it's a WEB 2.0 as 'normal' domains are easier to find. Regardless, on Pinterest you have them filtered by Niche directly. Even 'normal' domains have at times nothing in their name that suggest niche, making them almost impossible to find.

Check the below pics, it took around 3 mins to find this domain (not web2.0)

Third, now that you have your domain, let's check the stats.

Not too shabby.

Fourth: do as you wish :) Now you can either register the domain, or Web 2.0, or simply extract the expired articles and use them on your own site. Just remember to use a plagiarism checker.

That's it.

Such a great share! I am amazed by the number of expired domains. I just found two expired but with just 1 DA and 8 PA and the other 1 Da and 1 PA.

BTW: if you put a spin on this, you can discover small bloggers, starting out, etc. Some of them would be happy to let you guest post on their site, or at least I managed to find guest posting opportunities this way.

You are right, if this can be modified a lil bit can turn out to be a profitable way.
