The price of electricity + internet + sim in my country is very cheap. i only pay 5$/month for each device.
to save the investment, you can buy old smartphone

I tried this before but you kinda have to be both in a Tier 1 Country so your traffic is worth something and also in a Country where electricity is cheap

I tried to setup my own phone farm but the cost to the profit wasn't effective, probably in a country that manufacture phones where you can get cheap ones.
