Mod should seriously remove this thread from sticky.... Even if this method worked by in 2009. 2013 is coming and Google is certainly able to detect a sneaky 301 redirect like this. People gonna get hurt using this method. So please remove this thread from sticky....

Never tried this strategy - will give it a shot.
Great idea, but a lot of websites in the past have suffered because of getting 301 redirects from a lot of domain names. I don't seem to recall now, but one of the major eretailers did something very similar (they acquired a lot of small time online sites and 301 redirected them all to their main site). This ended with the original retailer losing a lot of their SERP ranking.
