Does this still work? I'm thinking that if you get too many cheap links into your secondary site it would be sandboxed and then the big "G" might not favor those one way links to your primary site from a sandboxed site or one without good relevant links coming in.
If anyone has tried this I'd be interested to know how it worked out.

This is just dumb and is a n00b tactic that is sure to get you slapped. It's called cloaking, not one way link building - and do you really think that you've caught all Googlebots in your script.

Damn dude, don't teach people if you don't know what you're doing. I feel bad for anyone who actually listens to this advice.

You're much better off doing something SMARTER like a cross domain rel canonical to a similar content page on a different domain.​

Do never think u get high rank with only simple process like that....
