How to fake the PageRank of a website

The PageRank of a web page can be faked with a combination of a 301 redirect and cloaking. It works like this:

  • When a search engine spiders visits a web page URL, the server redirects the spider to a web page with high PageRank like Adobe, Yahoo etc.
  • Google assigns the high PageRank to the page with the redirection because it thinks that the pages are identical.
  • When a human web surfer visits the web page URL, the server does not redirect the surfer. That means that the web surfer sees the web page of the faker and the Google toolbar displays the PageRank of the redirected URL.
To the viewer, it looks as if the web page has a very high PageRank although it hasn't. It just influences the PageRank display in Google's toolbar.

How to check fake Page Rank?

If you have scrapebox then you can do this with fake pr checker addons of SB.But if you do not have then you can do this using google search. To check a PR is fake or real of a domain name go to google search. Then type

Code:
[CENTER]info:domainname
[/CENTER]
If we want to check Pr of internetzombiemovie.com then we can write this in this way info:internetzombiemovie.com

Now hit the search button. If there are no results or if the returned URLs don't match the original URL then it's likely that the PageRank of that domain is fake. See it redirects to the internetzombiemovie.blogspot.com/.
So the Page rank 3 of internetzombiemovie.com is fake.Originally this PR 3 is of internetzombiemovie.blogspot.com.But if Google returns only one URL for the query and if the URL is the same as the checked URL then the PageRank is real.

If we check the page rank of blackhatworld.com then the result is like that:So PR 4 of BHW is real.

This is the way to check a PR is fake or real.So before buying any old domain you can check the PR of that domain is fake or real using this way.

I would also recommend taking a look at the cache, as well as backlinks of the domain. Those two variables are enough to properly determine if a websites PR is valid or not.

Yes but to fully ensure we can use that method OR we can use SB

Actually not really. If you are serious about determining fake PR, that's not the proper method. Another poster in this forum just asked about a domain (sv-serviceDOTcom).

While this shows valid PR from Scrapebox or the methods that you described. Its not valid PR. Sure the cache shows the same domain, which is why Sbox and most tools show valid but check the backlinks. 8 BACKLINKS and only 1 that has PR.

That PR won't last long at all, chances are that the domain was redirecting to a different domain and expired/sold. Which is why PR is still retained. When Google notices the changes (takes 2-3 weeks at times) the PR will vanish or be GREATLY reduced.

Always dive deeper and look at the backlinks.

Yes just now checked sv-service.com in this method and showing the same domain but Sbox showing it's PR is fake.So according to you we have to research about the backlinks number and quality of a domain to understand the PR of that domain is fake or real.Such as sv-service.com has a pr 0f 6 but has only 8 backlinks. And even no back links from .com domain. From this we can normally understand that a domain can not acquire a real PR 6 with only 8 low quality back links. Is that OK now? Thanks for contributing to understand this.

Check thi site blog and you will know why all the methods above you show us are impossible to detect its PR is valid or invalid: nhalauxehoi dot net
Its domain is only 4 months old, but the PR is 6. Woa. ALl the tools show its PR Valid, even using " info: domainname on search on Google. Result is still the same domain, no footprints. Woa but check this kind of search "link:domain name, you will see no links for this blog. One more thing, check it full domain on GOOGLE.com, all results of the old url (nhalauxehoi.blogspot dot com ) cannot founded, which means Google delete such a Fake blogspot, but the domain is still there because its out of GOOGLE AUTHORITY. Im sure it will last long after the next Panda update. Kungfu Panda Kills Fake PR

seems to me you could rotate these fake-PR sites into and out of a link pyramid, so that fake juice is always flowing to a "real" backlink.

This is the second fake-PR thread I've read, and everyone looks at it from the angle of acquriing fake-PR, then selling the site, and I wonder if it would be more useful to acquire the fake-PR and then use that juice to backlink a tier in a link pyramid.

A few more methods I highlighted: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/domain-names-parking/406937-tutorial-methods-spot-fake-page-ranking-lot-page-ranking-7-8-9-10-inside.html

And why is everyone talking about hotbusinessesonline.info?

how bout this one? Its PR10 hotbusinessesonline.info ?

this fake pr checking trick is no more working. this site is only 4month old and has pr10.
