[METHOD] This method is RUBBISH, don't bother, nothing to see here...

Why are you posting flyers for budget items in the posh part of town?
The method might have had a working chance if you targeted the people looking for cheap goods.

lol this post should be a sticky.

Prime example of why some people will never make money.

You spent a whole 40? Wow...you should have been a millionaire by now...

**maybe your website sucks
**maybe the products you are promoting suck
**maybe you are targeting the wrong audience - and they have absolutely no interest in what you are offering

Oh well, on to the next one...

This method will work on free stuffs only.
Try again with something that people wanna get so badly. Something new on the market.
Since you master the method already it wont take you much to give another try.
CPA will earn you a lot of money with that.

What makes you think he ever delivered any of the leaflets? Lol. I'm actually only half joking though.

Yeah, the only winner in this scheme was the teenager who pocketed $30, dumped the leaflets in the bin and spent the afternoon getting pissed in the park.

I think the folks in the posh part of town are less interested in bargains.

if there was a 'like' button I would be clicking it now :)

The posh people are only looking for cocaine and valium. Not sure if they sell it on Amazon.

Who's to say most people even opened the leaflets stuffed in their doors, or that the teens even delivered all of them, or that enough of a sample was distributed based on the product? Very inefficient marketing, with too many uncontrolled elements. All it proved is that this particular test campaign was a no-go. Was any tweak or variation to the plan attempted, or even contemplated?

There have been posts on offline marketing on several forums, that discussed distributing flyers into people's hands that promoted an evergreen CB product (200 flyers, spending under $30 on printing, splash page domain, etc, to promote a item paying $70 commission) that produced a net of about $300, or 900% return. That means planning to push an item that way that can produce profits even with a 2% return (4-5 orders), and considering the upfront test-run cash the opportunity cost of doing business, until one arrives at the right formula.

Absolutely! No research, no nothing. But expecting big profits.... :D

I appreciate the humour (<- yes I am in the UK ) of your post and a few people seem to have taken it a little too seriously. What you may have done is stopped a newb from trying a similar method and wasting their money.

However, there are now teenagers all across the USA advertising their services as leaflet distributors (aka leaflet dumpers) to make a quick $30 from anyone who wants to replicate your method.

Thanks for the entertainment mate :)
