Great post. Just a quick question, however. How long would you say that your average comment or reply on discussions is? Would it be best to keep it cursory, or would expounding a point a little help? I've tried both, but I'm still too early into this to tell what would be more effective. If you could give some advice on that, it would be appreciated.

Hi Tanhardt, you're doing this correctly. Split testing is required for every different niche. I've found that shorter posts work better in some and lengthier posts work better in others. It's not an exact science, but I like to use at least two different email addresses in each niche and begin with completely different messages assigned to each, then split test my way into what I believe is optimal.

You can really take this a step further by scheduling multiple emails to be sent out over time. Something I like to do is:

Respond first with my experience and subtle pitch
Respond later with an update on how things are going for me, what my progress is like, etc (no pitch)
Respond again with yet another progress update and a second pitch for a different, but similar product (usually cheaper)

I set my delayed autoresponder to only release those messages if the initial sender has not sent anything back to me (ignored me) in hopes that I can pick up additional conversions. This certainly works, I've found that my secondary offer converts well enough to more than justify the 10 minutes it took to set up those additional steps in my mailing recipe.

Hi, I was wondering if you could share your mailsidekick recipe as I'm having trouble getting mine to work.

Also every time I check the "Email Accounts" tab, one of the thumbs up (under connections) is red with the error: "[Errno 101] Network is unreachable" but then I click it and it turns green.

And guess what? Parents REALLY want advice from other parents.

Instead of pushing weight loss, try helping parents with the same exact method in this niche instead.

Any tips on finding good keywords to use for the alerts?

Simple way, but amazing tricks. At least, I've one question when other people started to mailing us.
In your email offer, you mention a name of the product, right? And after that, you must waiting again for next replying from the prospects.

What it's true? If we've know the name of product, we didn't wait for a long time. I think the prospects will find a name of products by itself if already know what the products. So we'll lost a lot of money.

Sorry for the strange question. I didn't know here whether I understand or not, for that I wish you deliver me the solution for this. :)

Experiment, if you're got too many places to post then try to narrow it down so that you focus on the most relevant.

why does the google alerts won't work for me? even if I put an alert on iphone or what ever very popular.. how to make them work? couse it's really time consuming opening up every search result in google .
