Crap advice here.

Brands have full rights over EVERY domains having their name in it.
Some don't care, many seize the site as soon as they see it.

As long as the trademark name is copyrighted, no way you should go for the brand's name.
 
Some of this may sound like hard work but you will reap the rewards
if you have a hire paying money site.

I have a site with a keyword phrase that gets 200,000 searches per
month. I'm really looking forward to ranking with that money site.

Let me give you some advice from 5 years worth of experience in IM and Internet Law.

The question was asking if he could use a trademarked term in his domain. My answer is yes, that's completely legal.
Brands do NOT have full rights over every domain that they have trademarked.
Lets take for example, the game RuneScape, owned by Jagex LTD. They own the trademark RuneScape, but also the trademark RS.

Are you telling me that they have full control over any domain name that contains RuneScape or RS?

Now, I not saying you can abuse the domain name and start selling your own version of the game RuneScape or RS. However, you're free to create your own website under a domain containing their trademarked term as long as the content on the website isn't an infringement on their trademark.

We've been in the practice of trademark infringement for years. The advice we offered was not "crap".

interesting approach, mostly for beginners but it's always good to refresh things.

You are correct Impulse. An example would be a company named MacDonalds Tires or Apple health Spas.
 
Received some questions about panda 3.3 and this method. The methods outlined in this guide are pretty basic so they're all very much usable still. Even the 301 redirect method is actually gaining more popularity.
 
Great resources. I have some reading to do! I'm using the 301 method already and seeing decent results.

I do have a question about the last step in your method.

15k Approved Trackback links. Let them hit 2-3 of your most important money site and inner pages if your have age and some pr already. If not, send them to all your 2.0 properties, mainly the Wordpress Blogs you've created using wordpress.org.

Also, was ARM a typo that was meant to be article marketing robot?

I believe ANL is ALN which i hear is not as effective as before.

blasting the web 2.0 with SB. Never blast your own money site with SB unless you dont fear the sandbox.

AMR is a tough one. I blast my moeny site with AMR . some people say its just as bad as SB to blast your own money site. Other members can probably add more to what i have said.

Sorry, it should be ALN.

AMR is generally used to send articles to web 2.0s, then bookmark the articles. However, you can send AMR to the money site directly if

1. the articles are manually spun and highly unique/readable
2. the money site has authority and age.
