[method] Stupid easy way to find wordpress themes

Ok, like the title says, some will think this is stupid because its so simple, but I wish I would have figured it out or been told by someone else sooner.

One thing I hate more than anything is finding a wordpress theme to use on a new blog, having to go the each link in Google and then hoping that the next site I go to will have the theme I want.

But, here is a quick way to do this. Go into Google Images, and search for "free wordpress theme" and then add your keyword. so like free wordpress theme cars, and you will see hundreds of car based wordpress themes.

This will show you a thumbnail of all the wordpress previews. So within minutes you can see hundreds of themes that might fit your site. Find the one you want, click on the thumbnail and it will take you to the website, and you can download the theme, or just go back to Google and keep looking.

I know, this is probably old and obvious, but hell I just figured it out myself, and I've never seen anyone talk about doing this, so hopefully it will help someone.

You can also go to template monster check the number of the template you want and then search in G for the number + torrent or rapidshare have come across some premium templates
 
Yep the method is powerful. Thank for the method. Just found a free theme for my keyword.

Not a great one, but at least better than my existing one.

Hm..well I think I was using the same way without knowing that it could be helpful to others,

I want to know is there any way to find out theme of any wordpress website?

A lot of the time you can look at the footer, many people leave in a link or a note on either the theme name or the website it originally was created at.

If not there, you can also look in the source code. If you look at where the style sheet (style.css) is kept, it will be in the wordpress themes folder. Most of the time people don't rename the folder name, so it will often be the name of the theme.

For instance, not to call anyone out, but if you go to this website:

You'll see the theme name in the footer, and if you pull up the source code, you'll see the style.css file is in a folder called "lightworld" which is the theme they are using.

hahaa this is very simple but useful :D I remember that the fisrt day to find the wordpress theme was terible with me :) and then I do the same think w/ you I got a nice theme for me:))
 
Nahhh you will get all those kinds of fake torrent sites planting a spyware in your PC
 
if me, i will go to themeforest, browse the themes, find the one i wanted. then hit google search for term : site:mediafire.com "wordpress theme name"

got it.
 
This is another method to get themes and was shared here before, but I don't remember the OP's name.

if you like the theme from another domain, just type:

domainname.com/wp-content/uploads

And most of the time you will find the zip file for that wp theme. (just click and download)

this method worked, i was looking for the theme number from templatemonster and this is where the consfusion was... some of the themes change names... in G type the diferrent "theme name", and happy days...
