I was on craigslist last night looking to buy a macbook, and I emailed about 5 people. I recieved an email this morning and it pretty much said:

Hi yes i still have the macbook pro. I posted the ad yesterday and due to how many people are interested in it
and being its almost christmas time ive decided to make this fun. Heres what we will do the person who has the highest score go here for the quiz. i will give the macbook to them for free i really dont need the money all it needs is a new battery.
Please send the score when your done i will only wait till tomorrow evening then ill notify the person who had the highest score where we can meet to get the laptop. Good luck.

At the go here part, it had a link to one of those CPA IQ Quizzes. It didn't occur to me until I clicked on the link that she prolly didn't have a macbook, but was making a ton of money off of people. It did not come across as spam to me, I just thought it was creative. Haha I don't know how good this works because I haven't tried it, so all you people who keep asking for quick cash, here ya go.

This is indeed a very creative method! There's always place for innovation ;)
The problem is that most CPA networks now forbid trafic trough craigslist..
 
Yeah, this kind of shit has been running for ages. Big risks though, need to really cover your ass well if you're going to go down this root.

Countless of IM'ers have accumulated hundreds of dollar to only have the ban soon before pay day

All it takes is a person to report your affiliate link to your cpa company

I'm sure some one will oppose this which is why I would recommend you guys learn for self

i actually did something like this a year ago and it worked fairly well, hardest part was getting ads in diff cities and getting them to stick, conversions where crazy though not sure how they are now....
 
How about linking them to your own domain, with the quiz in an iframe, so they won't see the network or your aff. id? Then dilute the CL traffic with some bought traffic? Or does it break out of iframes?
 
Its a nice method but :

A: Old method and its abused to hell.

B: You will get banned VERY Quickly with your network. Only 5% of the Networks accept CL traffic if not lower ;)
