[Method] Protect your site from negative SEO redirects

It actually defeats its own purpose because basically you're showing google a 301 for any domain other than mydomain.com which reinforces that the bad domain is now the domain you're trying to protect. But whatever.

In your case, it might work. You just redirect any other domain except your own. But if somebody throws bad links directly at your site, you just can't do anything.
The only thing which would make sense in this case is checking the referer but search engine bots do not send any referer information.
Thanks, anyway. This is a good fix for those 301-Spammy Gateways described in other threads.

kind regards,
SICK

If you guys want to know if someone is doing 301 redirects to your site check your pages with copyscape. It will show different domains for your content and you can open them (the small green urls) and see if they just have parts of your pages or actually redirecting the whole domain to you.

Getting some good feedback about this. Good to this becoming handy to some of you.
