Everyone knows the 1,2,3's of on page SEO. A lot of people also find it to be extremely easy and automated by Wordpress. Heres is some information I think will help you get an edge on other people who take on page seo for granted:

Here is an image that summarizes everything I'm about to write out.
long-tail-whiteboard2.jpg

Keyword Research and On Page SEO:
Begin by taking your long tail keyword, and finding 2 variations of the keyword. Heres an example [made them up]:

Primary Keyword:
Microsoft Windows Serial

Secondary Keyword:
Microsoft Windows Vista Serial

Tertiary Keyword:
Microsoft Windows Vista Serial Code

Ensure that the primary, secondary and tertiary all have some traffic on them by analyzing them in either:

- Google Adwords
- Market Samurai - my preference
- Traffic Travis

Next,
Create an article with 3 images, that is a minimum of 5-600 words. Write it yourself, or hire a freelancer. DO NOT SPIN! It doesn't work as well, and if people do click to your site, the conversion rates are lower for the ads; less people are interested in your content.

In wordpress, name the first picture "microsoft-windows-serial.jpg" or whatever format you created it in. Set the alt to be the same, and the description under the image to be the same.

Name the next two images the same, but use the secondary and tertiary keywords this time.

Now, insert the images spaced evenly around your article. For example, if your article is 600 words, space them to show every 200 words. Make sure the the text that is closest to the image (e.g. the sentence above or below) has a variation of the keyword the image is named after.

Using your favorite SEO plugin for wordpress:

Set the name of the page to be windows-vista-serial.php

Make the title of the page:
microsoft windows serial, microsoft windows vista serial, microsft windows vista serial code.

Then, in the description to the post include variations of all 3 keywords:
Looking for a way to get microsoft windows serials codes for windows vista? We provide a list of...

Notify Google that you've added content
Head to pingfarm.com once this is posted and put the url into the website to notify google of the changes. Then, use indexkings.com to get the site to be indexed quickly.

Go to your webmaster tools account and resubmit your sitemap. If you use wordpress, "Google XML sitemaps" plugin does this for you.

I've seen posts of mine get indexed within minutes using those methods. Don't overuse them though, it can get your site punished.

LINKS, LINKS AND MORE LINKS
Building links is the best way to rank, but don't go overboard. Since this is your money site, you want to be careful with spam so don't go crazy and do a 1M blast.

The key to getting rankings is to have a NATURAL link profile. Basically, does your content DESERVE 500 edus and 1000 .govs? Does it deserve 10,000 links, all built and pinged in 1 day? Be careful with this.

a) Build 3:2:1 ratio of links to your new URL, ONLY AFTER IT IS INDEXED! You can do this using all your favorite automation tools, scrapebox being my favorite.

b) Build some manual comments on high PR blogs that are very closely related to your niche. Use customer google searches to find this:

"keyword" "post comment" -"comments are closed"

There are tons more strings you can use, BHW has a hundred of them all over the forum, search for "custom footprint"

c) Stumbleupon, twitter, fb, etc.
Don't go crazy with this, use youlikehits.com to get some easy, and real hits.

d) OPTIONAL - buy a link or two. Bought links are amazing and are one of the best ways to rank.

e) OPTIONAL - trade links.

Please let me know if this anything is unclear or needs to be rewritten.

P.S. I know i'm on a guide writing frenzy; I have been reading these forums for a long time and I decided it was time to give back.

Thank you for this guide. Could you explain what you mean with the 3:2:1 ration? I didn't get this one.

This is awesome, there's a hell of alot of things In there that my site does not have. So I'm gonna add them right away! I'll thank and rep tommorow, on phone at the moment! Thanks man!

Okay , First I LOVE YOUR SKETCH :)
That is said , I can say this is really simple and summarized the whole process. All other things are just about how to do every one of these in depth.

Awesome post. Thank you for giving back. Can I ask you to expand on two items please and answer one question?

a) Build 3:2:1 ratio of links to your new URL
Does that mean you would build like 300 links for a week, then 200 links in week 2 and 100 links in the last week?

d) OPTIONAL - buy a link or two
Can you expand on the types of links you buy and in what quantity? There is a whole world of bought links available. Alternately, what links would you never buy?

Question:
You did not mention anything like articles, or wiki pages or web 2.0 pages or free blogs. Is this because you do not use them or because you used to used them but they no longer are effective or necessary?

JC.

thanks for the info.Did you mean that edu:gov:sb blasts must be in 3:2:1 ratio? can you elaborate a bit on that

Some good information mate,
The SEO game is definable changing I've had to change my approach very much the past few months and I picked up a few tips in your guide so cheers!

This is gonna sound retarded, but I don`t think my site was indexed before I started putting out the backlinks, a rookie mistake yes.

Reckon I will get penalized? I know some argue that Google won`t penalize with backlinks as it could be competitors not playing fair but yeah what you reckon?

Good post. But my question :Why is your preference- Market Samurai. I heard that it has a problems.

nice share, but this is like a link wheel and link building category :D

This is a theory of mine that I have tested and it has worked out pretty well. Sorry for not elaborating, here goes:

A great way to rank on the primary, secondary, and tertiary keywords, is to build a ratio of links that follow:

3 Primary
2 Secondary
1 Tertiary

This is able to be scaled, so assuming you want to build a lot of links, multiply each factor by the same number:

3x5 = 15 Primary keyword links built
2x5 = 10 Secondary keyword links built
1x5 = 5 Tertiary keyword links built

Hope this clarifies!

Good post. But my question :Why is your preference- Market Samurai. I heard that it has a problems.

The problems for the most part have been solved. It also interfaces very well with Majestic SEO, which I find to be essential for top level SEO.

The keyword research area is top notch, and I love the rank tracker field.

Good stuff... great information for the beginner to some novices.

This questions came to mind after reading!

1- When using scrapebox, how many links is good to blast in total?
2- Do you blast only autoaproved links or do you blast all kind of links?
3- What platforms do you blast? wordpress, blogengine etc?
4- If you are not blasting to money site, where do you blast?
5- How often do you blast with scrpabox?
6- Do you buy links for single sites or do you sue some site were people sell links?

Thank you!

This questions came to mind after reading!

1- When using scrapebox, how many links is good to blast in total?
Depends on domain age, your current link profile, and your ability to keep the links steady. It also depends on the quality of your content and the social appeal your website has.
On a new site I don't blast at all for a month at least, I first manually comment and build profile links. I do not want to risk anything with new sites.
2- Do you blast only autoaproved links or do you blast all kind of links?
I go for all kinds of links. Autoapprove links are nice, but they also tend to be spammed more.

3- What platforms do you blast? wordpress, blogengine etc?
Both, I alternate to get different results on the same keywords

4- If you are not blasting to money site, where do you blast?
I have a network of basement sites and sister sites that we use to make a strong link profile

5- How often do you blast with scrpabox?
I blast every minute of every day, just depends on what site I am aiming at. Individual sites I blast twice a week, at max, depending on it's authority.

6- Do you buy links for single sites or do you sue some site were people sell links?
Both. I use postlinks for my blog network. You can buy links from brokers on forum marketplaces, or you can email individual webmasters on sites that you think a link would be a good place.

Was thinking about elaborating, but it doesn't let me edit orig post :O

How do you keep a track of your links ratio? Its rather time consuming to check after every blast how many comments was successful.
