Hey guys, I've read a ton of methods on making money with Clickbank. None of them worked. I couldn't sell a single product.
I decided to just experiment on my own. This is how I sold my very first Clickbank product.
As you know... Clickbank products are harder to sell than other products because it's intangible and that raises skepticism in consumers (rightfully so).
You'll need to build a connection with your audience. I mean this is true for anything sales but the closer you are to your audience, the more they trust you, the better chance you have of selling them these digital products on Clickbank.
When choosing a niche on Clickbank, I suggest you only pick one of the four categories: E-business & E-marketing, Health & Fitness, Self-Help, or Spirituality.
I've actually done a bit of "data analysis" (in quotes because there's not much analysis) but what I did was add all the gravity scores of every product in every category. I plotted these data points on google spreadsheet.
Gravity in Clickbank is the number of distinct affiliates who sold the product. The higher that number is, we can (kind of) imply that it's easier to sell since other marketers are already selling it.

Anyways, after you picked your category, you're going to select products by first reaching out to the affiliate support email. What you're going to do is you are going to ask for a FREE REVIEW copy. I'm sure you guys know what this is since every single market place post on BHW asks for a free review copy. Essentially, you are asking for the product for free in exchange for writing a review.
I've done this and I've gotten EVERY single product I've asked for. It's not hard since digital products are really easy to manufacture (copy and paste or create a new login, etc...).
I've actually gone out and built a relationship with the owner of the product. So much so that he gave me a quick programming job and paid me $100 for it.
Once you have the product, you are actually going to do a thorough review. If you're in E-business or e-marketing, that means you'll sit through and watch the course videos or test out the product.
Now, writing the review is really tricky and requires diligence. I wouldn't try to outsource because writers typically do not care about conversion rate, they care about how fast they can make money (generally speaking).
Because you have to convince people to buy something after reading a page of content, you have to write like you're writing to a friend. Don't be super technical and distant.
My opening paragraph is always dissing other reviewers who haven't bought the product and are clearly ranking.
The reason why I do this is because I want to gain credibility and become friends with the reader. One of the best ways I found to make friends is to have a common enemy.
So I'll take a screenshot of reviewers that are ranking in the search engines who clearly have not bought or even reviewed the course. This is actually true, many top results don't have the product on-hand and it's obvious.
You'll be targeting the keywords: "[Clickbank product] Review"
Now, the biggest trick that I found that helped me grab the #1 spot is if that product has some sort of latest version. So let's say the product is Scrapebox. If I target the keyword "Scrapebox 2.0 Review" or whatever the most up-to-date version is, I stand a MUCH better chance of ranking.
Believe it or not, I actually bought fiverr links and pointed it at this article. In about a month or two, I was the number one spot for my keyword.
And after countless mornings of waking up and checking my Clickbank report... I sold my first product on Clickbank!
