[Method] Not exactly Negative SEO - More Like Messing with Competition's Mind.

You'll need Firefox or Chrome browser with developer kit. Also, if you have Alexa toolbar extension running in your browser as well that helps.

- Go to a High PR Authority site on scammers or poor service providers.
For the big mind fudge, find a Gov site on scams etc.

- Navigate to a section on shoddy businesses.

-Right-click on an outgoing link and in utilizing Chrome dev toolkit, Choose "Inspect Element".

-Re-edit the outgoing, d0-f011ow link and insert your competitors url.

-Change the link text to something appropriate or to your amusement.

-Close Chrome dev window and click on link. Repeat in Firefox a few times as well and use as many High PR sites as you can for added effect.

-Rinse and repeat on page 1 links of a google search of "poor service providers for ______" or whatever your whim dictates.

Sure enough sooner or later your competition will start to notice High Authority, High PR links with unflattering link-text. These links will come and go at random leaving no trace as to how they came to be.

I tried this on my own site with positive keywords and it showed up in my G analytics but because the links aren't there on next crawl, they aren't of much SEO value and show up as lost links.

Sometimes on this great forum up pops a lowballer with cheap shot comments ... that are neither use nor ornament... this is one classic example you commented but it was not necessary to disparage mickyfu!

I imagine a bunch of neg rep will be coming your way in posts to follow...

Everyone is different, for me, I do not like working, and when my work involves my websites, I would rather dedicate my time to something which makes me money. Fair enough, if you want to spend all your time messing around with other peoples sites which gains you nothing, go ahead and do it, personally I have better things to be doing with my time.

Haha.. I don't know. I've never done that. I've had issues with competitors in the past, but not like this. Not like where you see someones website that is not yours, promoting similar products. I've had issues with other forum members in other forums before.

I guess it could go something like "Hey, I really don't appreciate what you're doing, because it's making it harder for me to make money."

oh yea tom i still dont understand why tom, dick and harry like you come on complaining and whining when something is shared for free it's like you wanna grab some attention, OP you have shared something that is definitely worth a try.You go and make money who gives a fuck seriously i dont even think that comment was needed this guy has shared something so respect that.

Complaining and whining? LOL, I think you best take a few lessons in reading basic English, I was merely sharing my point of view, funny enough, that is what forums are for.

You see threads all the time about taking action, some people do not take action to make money, some read forums all day, others mess around on Facebook, and others may be more concerned in other peoples websites other than their own. If you really want to make it in IM, the best thing to do is cut out all distractions and set your mind simply on making money and ways on how to make that money into more money. It really is pointless doing anything else in IM.
