How to get SEO clients without cold calling... plus:
Get maybe two, three or more clients in a row
in less than two hours at the same place
Prenote: This is a modified post of me, which I posted in another topic. Thought it could be valueable to the SEO guys, too. So, here it is.
How to get seo clients without cold calling? And maybe even more than one at a time? Plus, in under two hours?!
This is how you do it:
Every business has it's own convention. Hotels, dentist, chiropractors... EVERY business. And... there are always lectures on something. Speakers, often pitching the s*** out of the audiance. Pitching them, why is that? Because they don't get paid!
The guys organizing those conventions are always eager to find speakers. And guess what... YOU got a hot topic. "Get your cash-register to explode using Google".
Tell them the facts. Show them the statistics. How much business they are missing out on. And what could happen If they where on top of google. Paint it in their minds. Show evidence that google search is the new yellow pages. Show some numbers using the keyword tool. Modify your normal pitch into a speech.
Will you get alot of business out of... let's say 20 people in the audience? No.
Most of them won't even listen. Socializing and stuff. BUT. In every audience there's always one. One that buys everything. (Dan Kennedy says so.) And if you think of the potential SEO has, you might spark the desire of some well fed, big-money business owner sitting there, eager to sign your contract. All it takes:
The balls.
Do I have to say more? Do the final thinking yourself.
Again: Those convention guys always seek free speakers. And pitching is no issue. There's your opportunity. Use it or lose it.
