Ok, I just got that viralscraper working. I'll work on automating it later.

I thought it was as simple as just following your instructions and editing subreddit links and putting in tokens. There's a few other things you need to change in the code that you haven't mentioned in order to get it working. What a pain.

To everyone having problems, READ THE SOURCE CODE. Don't just plug-and-chug.

Also, is there a way to make my posts appear on the big timeline wall of my page? It seems all my posts are on the bottom left under "Visitor posts".

Please tell us how did you manage to get the photouploader.sh working. I have now tried with 3 different apps and different never expiring tokens and i still can't get photos uploaded to the facebook fan page timeline. Please help.
 
I think I know why. The apps need to be submitted to facebook for review. They will not allow any of the permissions to post to facebook unless they have been pre-approved.

Even in a test environment it doesn't let you and even if it did it would only be shown to admins. Unless there is a workaround this kills Viralscraper. I think some users with older apps can get away with these restrictions but not someone making an app now.
 
that sucks, you need to create a website with the privacy policy and link that to your facebook app :l
 
First of all: thanks for the share!

I am trying to make it work with the defaults, but it doesn't do anything..
I created a unlimited time access token (its the very long random letters and numbers, right?) and put it in the code of photouploader.sh.
At the ID of the Facebook page I put the Profile ID from the Access Token Debugger page.

When I run the script, it doesn't do anything.
Am I missing something here?

I have some problems when I try to Generate Long-Lived Access Token all I get is

Anyone knows what the problem is?
 
good share, I wonder when all this social networks will explode due to intense "botting"

I got everything to work.
But atm it is posting it on my facebook instead of the page. Is there anyway to fix it?

How do you run te command with crontab generator? Please help. I did everthing but i just dont understand how crontab generator works.
 
Well it seems like many are having trouble with setup and then there's the FB approval issue. Really wanted to give this a try, but going to hold off until more folks come in letting us know they got it to work and how. Really hopeful that these issues are worked out as I'm anxious to try this method.
 
I hope this guide can help some of you fellas to earn some real money and to inspire you to build your own methods!

Any one thats got any good tips on how to get likes on the Fb page?
 
Found my raspberry pi and plan on giving this a try over the weekend. It seems like lot's of people are having difficulties setting it up though. If anyone's willing to give me a hand setting it all up I would pay you for your time.

it's pretty cool, it has a not too steep learning curve, but once you master it, it's better than ifttt imho
