After reading all these methods on ranking niche sites to front page, i thought id go ahead and share whats been working for me as well!
I recently developed a working strategy to rank my sites for sit and go, so far its been working like a charm and im able to rank all ranges of searches per month keywords. I focus on mostly 1-5k searched keywords.
After the recent panda update, my backlinking strat stood strong, and none of my sites fell, all remained the same, or rose up the SERPS. This tells me google likes what im doing, so i finally can focus on other things, like MAKING MONEY!
Heres a breakdown of my method, its a lot of work, but i did it over a months time, perfect linking velocity for a new and/or old site.
Step 1: I built 15 web 2.0 properties, to my money site, along with another 300 article submissions and 300 blog networks, i like to keep my link building diverse, and this is whats been working great. This might sound like a lot of work for just a micro-niche site, but hey why not! This is my tier 1 set pointing back to my money site.
Step 2 : I built a Tier 2 structure as well, in my tier 2, i built the following, Another set of 15 web 2.0 properties, 500 forum profiles, 300 forum posts, 500 social bookmarks, one thousand or so rss submisisons, and around 5000 blog comments.
Step 3 : A tier 3 structure was needed i thought, something just to get the gears spinning, i did another 1000 social bookmark blast to the tier links, along another 2000 rss submissions.
This took me around four weeks to fully complete, and i usually always see heavy serp movement through out the entire month, dancing around the front page by week 2/3, and for the keywords ive done so far, i've always managed to push my sites to position 1 in google.
I've already been asked if i would do this for others, depending on how busy i am, i could manage to do a few for others. again, it is a months work.. so just depends!
