[Method] Make easy side cash to fund your ventures

I'm in a pretty good mood today so I figured I'd share something. This is really nothing new but a refresher doesn't hurt, right?


Using DP to fund your ventures / projects


This is how I pay my server, buy domains, pay for autoresponders, bots, software and etc..


As most of you know dp is still a pretty nice money maker. What I usually do is just take methods I already know and used with twists on them and write small 7-8 pages books that are straight to the point. I'd advise not to give out something that is gonna get saturated or ruin it for the select few using the method. If you're desperate, just look around for methods and rewrite them yourself. It's really not hard at all.

It usually takes me about an hour to an hour and a half total to write a book, make a ecover, write the sales thread and set up the buy now buttons. At minimum I make about 50$, no joke. I also run my books no less than 15$ and up to 30$. Honestly staying between 15 and 20$ is perfect as long as you can win them over.

What not to do:

Do not straight just take someone else book and flip it unless you got reseller rights. It only takes 1 person to notice to ruin your whole thread and name.


Things to do:

1) What helps sell is, write a bonus book or 2 and keep it around to give out with all your future books.

2) In your headline/title, make sure you mention how much money you or others make with the method. I've noticed that people can't help but take a peak at your thread when they see how much money you're making, simple marketing tactics.

3) Bullshit your way to riches, not saying you're gonna be a john chow but, that's what IM is built on.

4) Make a nice ecover, I usually use this online tool because it's free, easy and quick. I just search google for an image relating to the niche, slap it on the cover and throw some text on it.

5) Write a nice sales thread but don't make it too long because people don't read. Make sure your main points stick out. If you need some tips on writing one, shoot me a PM.

Yeah, DP was actually the first place I started making money online, when I first started at like 14.

Books, autoblogs, MRR products are all good sellers. I suppose, there will always be new members joining, so you can continuously pump out new things.

It's like selling crack to kids over there.

DP has died out but it isn't completely dead, all the pro's already know of this though of course :]

Figured it would help some noobs out.

For the newbies:

If you are looking to scale this or turn it into something bigger, as in building a name for yourself you should:

Grab a domain and make a page for each book/product, you can find sales page templates on here free. Make sure you have an opt in on there for list building.

Make up a signature name for yourself and start a main website that will have all of your products on it. Name the site after your sig name.

Now don't just sell on the site, offer free methods, books, scripts, the works. Make sure you got an opt in here too, offer them something free in exchange for them to opt in.

Also you can write product reviews, hosting reviews and direct them where to buy the product using your affiliate link for more money.

Building a name does take time but it is worth it in the end.

I think this method really works for people who know how to write and can't make their first buck online. There are couple reasons: Everyone comes to this forum and basically reads as much as they can and try to learn what "works" but hardly any of them implement strategies or put a twist.

With this method, you can use the knowledge you just learned from the forum, add a slight twist, and sell.

That's the problem, people don't take action or they just half ass everything then wonder why they fail.

I sell at least a book a week minimum and it covers all of my expenses for my other projects and ventures.

One thing I did forget to add, you can buy a premium membership monthly for 25$ and that brings you in a lot more sales. With the premium you can bump your threads back up once a week to keep money coming in.

If anyone wants to try this one out incase you don't have a method to sell, write a book on how to bank on DP and sell it to them. It's been done plenty times before but they still sell, hehe.

Wow, a pretty solid method. Had a friend do this and pull in a fair damn bit, might have to take a shot at it myself some time.

Yeah I sold like 5 autoblogs a few months ago, which I used the same theme and settings for, and just changed titles, keywords, descriptions etc. I sold each one for $50.

It probably took like 2 hours in total to do it all, but the thing is you can't just keep doing this because you run out of customers and you need to come with new and improved products..

You can keep doing it for sure, man. I've been doing it for a few years now. Just gotta think outside the box a bit, it's not hard.

I've thought of this and it seems like a real good idea, but would you have to have an aged account over at DP? I doubt they would be willing to buy from someone who has 6 posts and joined last month. What's your thought on that? Thanks

You are right, the more reputable your account is the better but what I did to start is just start posting around, answering questions and such to get the count up.

After I released my first book I made sure to get some good reviews and itrader. If you want you can always buy a DP account off of someone if you don't feel like spending the time building one up.

Also like I mentioned above, spend 25$ on a premium account and that will boost sales.

Anyway It is good for noob like me ... Atleast want to start something from somewhere...

With some twists you can make even more than just funding your ventures. It's all about ideas and sales letters.

Writing books and sales pages isn't my primary focus, though I know how much can be made. I have bigger fish to fry =] , still good advice though. Thanks anyway bud.
