Hey,
I've been around BHW for a while and decided to contribute a method I used last year to earn some startup money. Now a lot of people have tried reselling logos to only fail.
I'm going to share with you my method on how I resell logos I get off of Fiverr and what does/doesn't work.
The Method
Head over to www.fiverr.com and find yourself a new logo designer. You're going to want to pick a smaller guy. The reason behind this is people just starting out on Fiverr will put a lot more effort into the gig versus an established person. I've gotten some really great looking logos from the small guys that exceeds the quality of the bigger guys.
Next you're going to want to pick your pricing. Everyone tries to turn around and sell these logos for $75-$200 a pop. You need to stop right there, don't be greedy. I find a great way to generate sales is to price your logos at $19-$25 I've done a lot of testing and this just works the best.
Next you need to start selling, email blasting takes a lot of resources, what I did was I bought proxies for different cities around the U.S and headed to craigslist. This is about 75% of my sales. If you get 10 different proxies you're going to have a lot of people contacting you. Make sure your English is spot on and you sound professional in your post. Include some of the logos that you've bought before in the pictures so people see high quality logos.
The other 25% I actually get from Facebook. I used Massplanner to join a bunch of different Facebook groups in the business niche and blasted my ad there with an email contact. This works pretty good and I bet if I scaled up it would of generated more sales.
Make sure to maintain your relationships with your customers, offer yourself out to get them other designs and always upsell. Offer them a different package that comes with a FB cover photo, ask if they need web design etc. This is a great way to build leads as well as most of these people will be business owners and if you maintain a good relationship you'll have there trust to sell them other things.
I hope this helped anyone who needs some starting money!
