[Method] Make $1000 a Month With Amazon - Newbie Friendly [Phase 5a Published!]

Hey, so I am planning to finally venture into Amazon affiliate. I figured out a niche I'd like to try, but I have a couple of questions.

1. Before getting accepted into the program, you need a website with content, and as this will be an affiliate website promoting various products, how much content will the website need before actual reviews of products? I mean, it's no point writing reviews unless you are 100 percent sure of getting accepted. Or am I thinking about this the wrong way? Do they accept anyone with very little content? Will the so-called "Buyer's guide" in the OP's post be enough content for them to approve my website?

2. I am outside of the US. Will there be any difficulties with payment (If I do end up making something from it) or there aren't any issues regarding the subject?

I'd really appreciate any information, thanks.

I think I got accepted with one of my old websites with no content. I'm not sure if I just was lucky.

I just signed up last week as an affiliate. I have no content on my website. If I recall, there is a timeframe ( I think it was 90 days, maybe more or less) in which you must make a sale. If not, they close your account down. BUT, they say to just reapply again once you "make changes to your site".
 
Fuck I should have read the guide more before running buying commerce theme. Should I change my theme or is it ok to use a commerce styled theme? It's basically like amazon but different colours almost.
 
Would also like to know that if the keyword top10 in google are like walmart and target sites should I then forget the keyword and try to find one with less powerful sites?

Sounds great! First sales from forum posts came from day #2 and site has started to bring in organic traffic after about 3 weeks. Ranking top 5 for quite a few keywords, nothing at #1 so far.

Awesome. Is your niche highly competitive? I believe mine is really competitive, so I'm not sure if I should expect any organic traffic..

(my website) is using the informations of their visitors that may serve content and advertisements, collected directly from their visitors on their reader’s browsers.

Is it good ?

And what about the design of the website , meathead1234 said that a normal personal blogging look is good and still i saw many people saying that they have a professional look in their websites .

1. We should only to reply on forums? Or also create new threads and asking about our niche? For example: "I'm not sure which product should I buy, I found XXX on XXX or YYY on YYY. What do you think?"
2. Only new threads matter? I mean if on our forum is a thread about materless but it's one month/two months old we still should reply? Or looking for only new threads?

Thanks for any advice. As mine website is almost done I'm starting to looking for forums to post and I want to make it properly :)

There are couple of things to consider when forum posting. First, it may be difficult to create an new thread until you have increased your post count and shown some activity in the forum first. Secondly, consider it an investment. The time it takes to develop a forum profile will improve your authority/trust with this valuable traffic source. A good forum can also become a goldmine for future traffic to the same website or a variety of other website/projects in the same or a closely related niche. Otherwise, you might run the risk of looking like spam if your only posts are things like 'great post dude' or 'interesting post, good read'. Make yourself to look as natural as possible and try to contribute to the forum wherever and whenever you can.

Important to note is that while it is best to be as helpful as you can to others, don't try to be overly active at first with a forum. Often, especially with long-established forums, they become more of a closed community (many of the members will come across as know it alls) and will be a little reluctant to share with newcomers. If you are too active with posting when you first join a forum, others will see this increased activity as aggressive with the intent of spamming the forum later. Just be natural. Ask natural questions. When you respond to a thread, tell them a little short story of how you found solution X to problem Y.

The method of posting "I'm not sure which product should I buy, I found XXX on XXX or YYY on YYY. What do you think?" as you stated would be perfect. Now, don't worry too much about targeting only new threads. Older threads will often provide excellent results because there is more of a chance that your responses will be seen by more people. This is partly due to the thread ranking in Google and you will get recurring traffic as a result. Also, as members of a forum participate in a conversation on the thread, they may become alerted when a new post shows up (as it also happens here on BHW). Use older threads to your advantage.

For example, the best vacuum cleaner last year might have been product X. This year, however, it might be product Y. You can go into an older thread discussing the benefits of product X and ask if anyone has had a chance to use product Y yet as they have made significant improvements over the previous model. Tell them you have the opportunity to buy product X or product Y and you found the information on (your site). Either way keep it sounding as natural as possible.
