A) well I never had this problem, everything in the site is indexed besides the homepage + my post (where the articles are) only the about me, contact us, privacy policy and all that are indexed.

B) I'll try to increase a bit the word count but I'm terrible at writting articles never have any ideas so it was hard enough for me to write 1k haha.

C) I'm pretty sure the competitive is low-low medium, no way I'd not be in top 300, I should easily get to top 50 just by onsite SEO.

D) By 4% keyword density I meant like think about this keyword as an example "motherboard for i5 4460" the word "motherboard" is way more commonly used in my article so it has 4% density but it's not the one I'm targetting, the actual keyword "motherboard for i5 4460" would have 0.8-1% density.

Until know I've used only YT to make money so I would like to try Amazon. I have all what you mentioned, it shouldn't be hard.

Just curious, how many affiliate links do you have in the content? I've read around that too many affiliate links with too little content will get you ignored by google (if you don't have a bunch of backlinks that is). I don't think I've been affected that way because I usually write massive articles.

It took me a couple of weeks to get into the top 200 with one of my articles though, where even an irrelevant one from my site outranked the one targeting my keyword. Eventually I ranked in the top 5 though, it just took some time and a few backlinks to get some movement.

In my other site I have an average of 550 words per article with up to 10 affiliate links per post and ranks well, in this 1 a mere 4 per 1k words.
 
meathead1234, I have a question, as I understand the whole idea with 5a phase is do a test - does site converts with targeted traffic, or I'm wrong? If you get traffic to the site, but CTR is low and of course the most important thing - no sales, adjustments are necessary to convert the traffic before you move forward to next step.

The traffic should be converting into sales before you move on. Make on-site adjustments as needed until it does.

Finally finished the pillar which turned out overall good I think, hopefully not too boring. I started with the first review article; after re-reading the first few paragraphs of the article I realised I sound like a cheesy salesman. Will try again tomorrow with a fresh mind.

Keep in mind that your audience isn't from the internet marketing world - they're average people with almost no computer/online experience, at least for most products. Put yourself in the shoes of a 56 year old man looking to buy a new fridge and think about what he'd want to know and written in what style.

This is so you can track from which answer you get the best traffic. WordPress plugin JetPack can show you from which link you received clicks. This is how you can know what kind if answers work best for your niche and optimize in the future. End goal is more money in the end, when doing this.
 
So I did this method for 16 hours when it first came out and kind of stopped after that because I couldn't find a good VA to help me out.

The "goal" is $1K/mo and I did for a bit two months ago, yet last month I still made $505 with no work. Put in some work and the $1k/mo should be a piece of cake. Of course, I've got a lot of previous experience with Amazon affiliates, but all I did was follow this thread step-by-step. All you've really got to do is get started and stick to it a little bit. The entry cost is so low, it's alright to make mistakes - don't over think it and just try different niches/forums/post types etc.

Great results! I too am following this thread step by step. I've just finished my first pillar article, it's not been indexed yet but I'm posting to forums and have seen a little traffic trickle in. No sales yet.

This is reassuring. I was a bit afraid that I messed up on choosing the niche, but I tried to follow the instructions as closely as possible.

I'll keep chugging along. Are there any other suggestions you would make?

Hi Meathead!

Just got done reading the entire thread (whew), and I wanted to say thanks for posting this as it is pretty damn thorough so far. I can't imagine how frustrating it is to read some of the replies, but you've done enough around here for real people to take notice and take action. I'm no longer interested in flimsy quick buck methods that come with severe penalties later on. That gets exhausting over time, and this is a solid plan to move forward with.

I've been out of the game for so long I'm basically a noob again. However, I am very strong in the content creation department so that will work well into my favor with this. I'm looking forward to putting this into action this week, and I'll definitely drop updates along the way. I'm a little confused about the article structure for the "best of" articles, but I am probably just overthinking it. I may need to just do a tad more research then test things out.

WhitePassion ~ it's good to see you here as well. I remember seeing some of your threads awhile back so it's nice for someone else with real proven experience to chime in on the thread as well.

Put 90% of your focus on creating a quality pillar article and the rest of the site kind of doesn't matter in the beginning.

The goal is to start making quick money with forums. If you see that a site starts working out really well, then you start building up the rest of the site to make it better, turn it into an authority and eventually sell it.

In the beginning just create as many sites in different niches with quality pillars as you reasonably can.
