[Method] Make $1000 a Month With Amazon - Newbie Friendly [Phase 5a Published!]

thisiswhyiambroke... yes i took the idea from that site exactly but a little bit more different i try to share smart products more than geeky. Because these days everybody creates somethings and sells so many llife saver gadgets and tools around.

i made all social media account but didint focus much to increase followers on them i bought gsa and this month gonna buy scrape box for some quality backlinks with ahrefs combination maybe it can work what do you think ?

thisiswhyimbroke started around 8 years ago. As I said that based on that site's success many people have tried the same idea and maybe few have succeeded. However strong social media following is required. If you have huge amount of followers, then you can share some links from your site and see the reaction/response. If users are sharing your site link with others and if you notice traffic increase (with less bounce rate and high retention) on your site then you can continue. If not then you can start with some other new idea. You may want to read the AMA of the creator of ThisIsWhyImBroke.com - https://www.reddit.com/r/Entrepreneur/comments/15s5g9/i_am_the_creator_of_thisiswhyimbrokecom_ama/

thanks i am going to check it

I've got my site up, 7 articles + 1 Pillar so far (around 11k words) just waiting for all my posts to be indexed.

I've started doing the forums and q&a sites, it's not generating any interest yet however so im looking at doing guest posts instead.

Has anyone had much success with the forums currently? just deciding what % of time to put into each method

One question! When you post the link to the forums, do you use the affiliate link to amazon or the post on your website ?

Anyone know how to put post on home page? as he mean here?I change setting- Reading but only topic. I want to put full article on home page.

For getting notified about new forums posts in their niche, people can also leverage Google Alerts. Make things easier instead of manually searching for new posts.

I'm following this method right now, with a vacuum cleaners website: it's an obviously over-satured market, but i'm still trying to get some sales with answers & links on the right forums, since the organic search is not the main target of this guide. In the first 2 weeks i scored 50 clicks (affiliate) and 100 people (analytics), but i'm still waiting for a sale. Any suggestion?

Following this thread...

And apologies if my post is too long...
Just trying to give noob value :-)

Here's my 2 cents.

My site deployment is pretty much exactly what @meathed1234 describes what to do.

I found time is the biggest factor with my Amazon affiliate site.
Start with a method like Meatheads, an outcome you want from your site and make sure you working another job to keep you in the lifestyle your accustomed to.
Outcome can be - sell the site for $XXXX, income of $XXX per month, site just needs to cover my car payments etc.
Have these 3 things and you are in it for the long haul.

You need to have patience in the Amazon affiliate game.
It's not a get rich quick scenario.

Started March 2018 - am now up to about $200 per month sales.
14 article style blog.
I'm actually re investing my profit into more articles in 2019 - aim is to get it up to 50 articles, theoretically that would be a straight line to $800p/m
I'll get greedy in 2020 and put the profit in my pocket...probably.

My experience is:
New blog - 3-6 months in the Google sandbox
6-9 months the traffic needle starts moving ever so slightly to keep you interested in affiliate blogging- still no/limited sales (i got some sales around Xmas)
9+ months - boom! organic traffic starts to increase MoM - at present im looking at a 27% increase in traffic between Feb 19 and Mar 19 traffic to my blog. Revenue starts to become more consistent and slowly increase MoM.

From here I can basically go after any keyword i want and rank inside the top 30 within 48hrs, after 48hrs Google plays with my article like a cat playing with a ball of string bouncing my article around the top 100 then it starts to settl back down inside the top 30.
The reason is Google is now starting to trust my site.

You need to add content consistently and backlinks.
Im only adding 2 x 3000 word articles per month (need to up this though with a big mid year buy), as mentioned im buying articles - sometimes if I like the topic i'll write the article...
Buying a do follow backlink package every 4-6 weeks to posts that have sat in the Google index for 4-6 weeks (i.e. not posting and then immediately back linking to the post, Google doesn't trust me that much and would probs be a red flag somewhere)

Im starting to do forum posts on Quora and Reddit - just noobing around on these forums at present, no consistency.
A little bit of traffic, nothing to be excited about.

Outcome for me is to sell for 5 figures + depending on timing and personal circumstances.

Ohh and the biggest tip I can give - try and get your bounce rate 90%+
The reason is you don't want traffic looking around on your site - you want them bouncing straight away from your site to Amazon so you can put that cookie on their device :-)

Please feel free to PM me if you like with questions - noob to noob it's all good.

How did you build backlinks?
Have you down a lot of forums post?
How much traffic are you getting now?
please share, thanks

Not building backlinks - buying them from sellers i trust. When your starting out everyone says build backlinks - this takes forever IMO as your a noob and no one cares about your new blog, I just but quality links like .edu etc and point them at blog posts that are 4-6 weeks old to really try and move the ranking needle for that article.

Haven't done alot of forum posting - as discussed only forums ive been on are Quora and Reddit. Quora is cool as you can be legit with your comments - you just find the questions your article answers and write say 200 word summaries, just enough to tease people to click through. Reddit yeah you gotta get super ninja with that forum, ill noob around and find a hot topic related to my article and say something like 'yeah cool I was having a look around and found this as well http:///yoururlhere.com and then i'll go to a couple of other random reddit topics and just reply without placing any links - just so my account looks natural...haven't been busted yet - only done this strategy half a dozen times though..
Add to this i have done literally zero social media - I've got a plan but don't have time to implement...

Up to about 2kp/m traffic, rocketing up v quick and am v surprised I got this much with just 14 articles.

All my articles are comparison articles i.e. THE BEST top 5 <insert product here>, I don't bother with then creating listicle or any other type articles to link back to this type of article - waste of time IMO and all your doing is making an article cannibalise (compete with) your money 'THE BEST TOP XXX' article.

Backlink sources are Fiverr (but not off the shelf products, I ask the seller if they can custom up a link package), I've used The Hoth once and Blackhat links
Am a noob here - have a found some cracking value backlink resellers here so will be going with them next...
My helicopter idea with links was to buy a combo follow/don't follow package initially and now im just buying small do follow packages for link diversity.
I only spend about $10-20USD at a time for b/l packages.

nice bro
how many articles do you have now? and what kind of articles?

Thanks for your tips D1cko1980, I'll keep them in mind. I think the basics are: stick to your plan and keep going on; be patient.

I only do 'THE BEST TOP XXX' article.
I just find a keyword I want to rank, figure out who my competition is, check how many words they have and then create an article which is 500 words longer.

Yeah you gotta be patient.
If you have time, say $3k and are a good project manager you could do 3 sites at once, am only now starting to realise this.
Some days are up - 2 days ago I earnt $35, some days are down - yesterday was $3.02....

My other tip is fully forget about capturing user emails until your up to say 2-3k traffic p/m.
Im not there yet but it's just too hard to worry about everything else and then figuring out lead magnets, popups, email nurturing sequences etc.
I know how to do these but i don't have a couple of days planning + execution up my sleeve at present...
