Hey I'm not OP but doing a quick google search of his example niche "Mattress forums" resulted in some very niche heavy forums as well as some more general forums like a cnet or other popular forum. you could try this or just cut your keywords up until you find some forums. shouldn't be too hard and remember to stay a member and be a veneer for your persona on the forum, be a expert/regular guy with a blog

Thanks dublecee. I will check that out.
Just that sometimes google can take long time to arrive at the final answer whereas direct referral is quicker.

It's more about figuring out the target audience not the specific product.

I.e. if you're promoting hammers, you wouldn't look for a hammer forum. You'd look at construction, home improvement, DIY and maybe cars etc.. Think bigger.

Great guide! A couple of questions:
1) Inside the blog posts, can we put 2 Amazon links (.com and .co.uk) to target both American and europian audience?
2) Do you reckon that a paid facebook advertisement of the main article would work? (assuming good audience targeting and all).

I started to make my first consistent income with meatheads blog commenting method, using it to drive traffic to an MNS monetized with clickbank so going to give this a try now.

I have the site up to a point where I can start promoting, ive created 2x profiles each on around 11 different forums and will start warming them up tomorrow. Going to give Reddit a try too. I have optimised for SEO as well, even if this makes a few hundred bucks a month ill be happy.

Thanks to @WhitePassion , I read through the whole thread today and alot of your posts really clarified the best strategy to take with the forum posting.

So I just made my first sale with this method! I only started this properly on Thursday/Friday, traffic has been increasing but averaging 10-20+ visitors to my site every day and amazon clicks have been very good

Another winner from meathead

2 more sales yesterday. Going to start building web 2.0s as well as this now. Also I've been doing meatheads original commenting method with this and it got me some decent traffic from a YouTube video I commented on

This is a good point, both of his methods can be combined for some great results!

Oh man! I love this guide! I found an old (wso-)guide talking about build a simple site and then hitting forums to create traffic. It was from the original Microsites guy. I remember scoffing at it, due to the simple setup. Now I realize that I have a great guide on exactly this and that I can see how to apply it for good benefit.

I am looking at niches right now that are both feasible in the terms of the guide, but also adding that there should be activity on the subject at Tumblr, Pinterest and Youtube (hopefully Twitter too), so I can see how to comment and engage there too. Not for seo, but for traffic.

Good subjects are (feel free to share or steal):
Dope (sorry, but they do talk a lot about this at Tumblr)
Meditation
Spiritual stuff
Food and diets

Those are also subjects for good blogs with Amazon monetization...

Hope I didn't break any forum rules, there.

Hi , one method is here ,which is the second one? He has not published 5b. Right?

No 5b has not been published.

It is all one method. 5b is just the next section in the method. Think of it like chapters in a book.

Could another method for starters in amazon affiliate be too find a niche, use only competitor keywords and re write competitor articles? Would this be a viable option?

I found my niche which is not under electronics but somewhere else but those products are electronics and now I dont know if its considered as electronics lol (obv dont wanna post exactly which niche)

That's fine, just go over to the the commissions and see exactly where your products falls into. There are quite a few electronics that pay out more in commissions than other electronics.

Great thread, I actually decided to throw drop shipping out the window for this method for now at least.

This may be a good idea to use woocomerce and the affiliate product option. I was hoping that they had something to remove the buy button, and yes they did.

That niche I found has Fixed Standard Program Fee Rate exactly 8%. Soo that should be good right?

I am following this method!
Just started about a week ago.
I have already 6 quality articles up in my website.
Now I´ll start trying to get some traffic using the posting on forums method.
How do you guys go about it? can you recommend me some good proxies to use so I do not get ban for having multiple accounts on forums?

Update:
I started monday posting on forums, here and there.
Yesterday made my first amazon affiliate sale!
Yesterday amazon stats: 222 clics and 1 conversion!
