[METHOD] Little Passive Income

Continue pushing :)

One month later...

I did absolutely nothing, and I made a few more sales.

From 7 sales I made 14€
My products were added to favourites 6 times.

I am in doubt now about how to scale this. I tried Reddit traffic, and it didn't convert much (maybe some sales came from there). I was thinking about making an Instagram profile and posting my designs with a link in the bio to the RedBubble store. Or maybe I should simply make more designs

This is my Redbubble dashboard:

I made around $17 uploading around 95 designs (it took me 2 hours).
The best thing about RedBubble is that you don't need to bring your own traffic. They have a built-in system that promotes your designs.

Whenever I uploaded the designs, Redbubble sent traffic my way to test my designs. I still get favorites by people looking at products on RB.

My Process (method):
  • Find scalable quotes, for example - Coffee makes me Cold, {Niche} makes me Hot. These are the type of quotes where you need to change 1 word to turn it into a new design.
  • Create a simple design (text-based + some graphics)
  • Use automation software (I haven't tried any, so please don't ask me) to create + upload hundreds of these designs
  • If you find that some niches (with less competition) are selling well, then go hire a designer and make graphics-based designs for that niche.
- It's pretty scalable to the point it can become a passive income source.

Disclaimer: It was just a fun test project for me, so I don't have a lot of insights into it. DO NOT BUY ANY COURSE on this topic, most of them are rehashed garbage. Cya!

How soon until you see $ coming in?
For me it took month and a half to make a first sale. Worth of mentioning is that there is a payment threshold of 20€, so depending on the products and the amount you earn you have to sell few of them in order to recieve the payment.

I tried with sending traffic from Reddit, but it didn't make any significant results - 1 or 2 designs were favorited and 0 sales (I got around 200 visitors within a few weeks)

Are you bringing your own traffic or relying on RedBubble entirely?
what I do is try to rank or create designs that already have search traffic from google, and also check if there are not too many designs, one of the things I would avoid would be to make possibly copyrighted templates because Redbubble deleted 3-4 of my designs and now my traffic has fallen, I don't know if they have any kind of shadowban when they take down designs because of copyright, maybe I am wrong and just some pages lost rankings, I really don't know as it was a test I worked on for a few weeks creating and uploading

Doing google research makes sense.

Redbubble page for "mykeyword" + tshirt ranks first in the Google, and my design is first shown when RB is open, even though there are 500+ other designs. So yeah maybe the point is to find keywords for which:
- Redbubble pages rank good
- There is decent traffic

And for ranking within redbubble website I used method shown in this topic and the video, with descriptions, hashtags, and everything else.

With copyrighted content - they have 0 tolerance if they detect it ofc. That is why I believe it is the best to stay in the area of textual designs, then it's only copywriting :)

Out of 70 textual designs, 1 was removed due to copyrighted word.

Can you link to the video, please?

why is there a decline?

Yes, you shares it twice in this topic xD

The main thing from this video (speaking about RB ranking) is the tag generator, which seems to work in my case. I didn't copy paste directly, but dedicated some time to make sure the tags actually make sense for the design.

But how does that help in SEO? I have watched the video. There is nothing for SEO.

This is really interesting kind of method. I want to try this. But if I dont have any artistic ability, what can I do for make the design?

Just search for Redbubble Tools on YouTube. You will get all your answers :)

You can create textual designs. In combination with nice fonts and good text it can be cool
