[Method] Let's talk about Web2.0 - Rank Number 1 With Buffer Sites!

what would you build them with then? It's nice to offer an alternative if you're going to bash the OP's method. Constructive criticism is always appreciated.

- twitter
- facebook
- forum posting (not profiles)
- press releases

I think what google is really looking for these days and will never penalize is social proof. With the exception of press releases, those above are the best bet.

Of course web 2.0s work, but I'll bet they are the next target in Google's eyes.

For a short to medium term site, by all means use them. For a long term and/or authority site, do you really want a slap from google again?

I don't think websites will get slapped by Google for using web 2.0's. What I think might happen is that they'll get severely devalued one day. I don't think that is on the radar for now though; for now I think they are more interested in slapping paid links and anchor link over-optimisation.

Before I would have agreed with the rest of you, but after reading Wannabie's thread on how he ranks very competitive keywords I'm coming round to florflor's thinking.

Wannbie suggests looking at all the backlinks of your competitors and run a similar campaign. So sure, if the top 5 have a lot of web 2.0s do the same. But if the top 5 don't and your site appears on the front page with tons of web 2.0s this might make G take notice, because your site is getting links completely differently to your comeptitors, which is going to look unnatural to G.

Interestingly the car insurance top sites use a lot of paid links and press releases. I doubt they are creating web 2.0s and blasting with SB ;)

But I'm still going with Web 2.0s for now so I'm interested to see how people layer them.

Subscribed.

Awesome thread OP! I have been using SEnuke with simple pyramid with web 2.0s and social networks as my tier 1, and i have been blasting with SB for the past couple weeks, i went from not in the top 1000 to #24. I have AMR but am a little confused as to how i would link my articles to my web 2.0s, as i am limited to one resource link in my resources....

I also Created 20-30 web 2.0s from phpbuilts massive web 2.0 lists. I think creating them manually is better because of detail on not looking spammy etc....

My new web 2.0's that i created manually have one 500 word highly spun article with 2 contextual backlinks with varied anchor text "click here" and long tail keywords

i am hesitant to blast these because a member said that the web 2.0s outranked his sitee for his keyword. so i was waiting for someone to clear it up before i blasted. I think im going to give it a shot after reading this thread..what do u think? rep and thanks given:cool:

USE WEB2.0s TO LINK TO YOUR MONEY SITE?!?!
And I thought I've seen everything!
/sarcasm

As far as anything wrong with linking from Web 2.0 to the money site (as one poster suggested)...

I think Google let's anything go from moderated places (as web2.0's are). If they see that a web 2.0 is getting loose with moderation and article quality, then they devalue outgoing links from that 2.0.

Using the same thinking process, top article directories are still around, as they do moderate.

Millions of spam backlinks from Xrumer and Scrapebox won't rank your new sites any more 90% of the time.

this is not true.

I THINK you guys have a slight miscommunication.

Quoted message meant: won't rank your site at the top rankings

You interpreted: cannot index your site

No I mean for backlinking. Many web2s pointing to a site does not look natural. Google couldnt' care less how the accounts were created.

These methods are all good but I would never build an authority site with them.

Use unique content and you will be fine. As long as you provide QUALITY information that is RELEVANT to what your writing about and provides an ANSWER to what the user is looking for then you are not doing anything wrong.

In turn you can then REFERENCE your site or tell the reader they can LEARN more on your site about what they are searching for.

Of course just dropping a link at the end and not in context is going to look un-natural but if you do things properly without taking massive shortcuts your fine.

Making web2.0s is purely whitehat and I dont see anything wrong with it. Was in the bookstore and just looked at some whitehat seo books and even those guys are suggesting to make web2.0s to "promote" your site. now the BLASTING part.. i dont know about that..but web2.0s promoting web2.0s which promote your main site = DOMINATE SERPS!

Does anyone have any expriences building web2.0 to web2.0 with links going to the bottom web2.0 tier?

I'd also like to hear people's views on linking wikis to the web2.0s..

this looks good. I will definitely try this out soon..

Here is my strategy:

Money site
^^^^
Web 2.0 blogs each with 3 spinned articles (from 30 to 40 blogs). The articles are 90% unique but are not readable. They have no grammar mistakes and i make sure they have my keywords in it (2.5% density, 500+ words). I uploaded images and put some videos on all of them (it's very important). The images are optimized, with changed file name and dimensions (if you don't change them google will see it as duplicate)
^^^^
High PR Web profiles, Article Directories and Social bookmarks pointing to the web 2.0 blogs. Used fiverr for this, great results.
^^^^
Forum Profiles pointing to Web profiles and social bookmarks. Xrumer gigs.
^^^^
Scrapebox blast on everything except the money site. 400,000 successful Unchecked = probably 50k live links, don't know for sure.
^^^^
Combine all backlinks and go on bulkping.com. Make mass ping and i make rss feed containing all backlinks. I put that .xml rss feed in the menu "ping" where there is an option "ping every third day of the month".

= Awesome results.

I tested this on 30k exact monthly searches and with single pyramid like this i went on second page and after 1 week i'm on 3rd page (before the blast it was dancing, usually it was 100-200 place).

do you do this manually? or do u use se nuke?

I usually make 20-40 web 2.0s with manually spun 600+ word articles. Links to money site + one link to inner page.

Then i send 300 bookmarks to each, 100 articles to each, 30,000 xrumer and scrapebox blasts to each, and lastly, I use lindexed on the articles, bookmarks, and web 2.0s. Rinse and repeat.

Thanks. You use any tools? Do you only do one-page web 2.0s, and do they stick?

I read this mentioned a few times this thread: What big sites have a bunch of web 2.0s?

Answer: A ton of them.

Local brick&mortar IM firms that I've spoken with that deal with big names (Gibson.com being one of them) promote their clients with buffer sites.

There is simply no way to verify, if done correctly, that the Web2.0s aren't naturally occurring. Marketing is what it is and even if every Web2.0 gets removed from index (which they won't; you don't screw around with Wordpress'/Blogger's income), there will be another method that is essentially the same thing.

If you're talking about Google/Microsoft/Facebook...No duh they don't need to promote that way. They sort of own the Internet. Don't think they don't create any, though, that would just be leaving money on the table.

as blackieman has asked... what tools are used when executing this strategy and are the web2.0's multi page or just single page with pics / video ?

Now I know what is Panda's new target for 4.0 or 4.1 update :p
Don't expose your sites in front of Google. Otherwise Google would :spank:

do you setup these web 2.0s with keyword.blogspot.com or randomname.blogspot.com ? looks less spammy if you stay clear of the keywords in the title doesnt it?

and as you are using these mainly to rank your money site , the keyword in the url doesnt really matter as ranking the web 2.0 isnt your main concern

Guys what will be better in links piramid, talking about web2.0 profiles (high PR, but only bare link or even url without link) and article directories (low PR, but high relevant content with embeded links) - AD-> web2.0 profile, or web2.0 profile -> AD?
