Are you direct linking them to the CPA sites? I bet you could make a lot more sending them to a squeeze page and building a list.

i circulated around 150 flyers for free groceries and i had 27 clicks with 19 conversions...the offer pays $1.40 per lead....i am planning to go to walmart and give free walmart gift card flyers...may be i can easily circulate 2000-3000 flyers on a weekend...need to see the conversions...i have a walmart offer that pays 1.60 per lead...im doing my masters and i can print as many flyers i wanr for free at my school...so there wont be any printing cost...i print 2 flyers in one A4 sheet...all black and white...i'll post my results after i circulate the flyers...

It's already been mentioned in this thread but noone seemed to notice the brilliance: USE QR CODES!!
A person gets the flyer - he thinks hmm whats this and scans the QR code and BOOM he's at the landing page. It will draw in so many who will otherwise just think "nahhh takes too much effort, ill throw this flyer out"
I bet it will multiply the effectiveness of OPs suggestion.

This is a great thread! So how about doing this with an mlm opportunity if you are posting job offers, for instance global domains int? its a dollar a month per referral and if you have a working method you just teach them to do what you do, posting flyers. Its just a suggestion i dont know how well something like this would convert compared to a cpa offer, but its worth a shot.

scrap the bridge overpass idea. We are now targeting busy intersections. this is where the $$$ is at. its simple to create a small sign with a link on it the adventure is where you decide to put them. Keep it domain names and keep them short and catchy! this WILL generate you money.
also another tip... what i do is get on google earth and go to my home, zoom out to my city and print a pic. i try to come up with a plan where i will drop say 10-20 banners, only the BUSIEST intersections and i try to place them where they will be seen all over not 10 riding down 1 main road.

that's the one i wanted to try....will be going to walmart next weekend to try this out...but i would not print $1000 gift card on the flyer...i just print walmart gift card...many people think that's scammy if they see 1000...im not sure though...im completely free this whole month....so i'll be going to all the stores like give best buy gift cards in front of best buy and like that....will post the results here...

I would be careful with the Walmart idea because all the Walmarts have security renta cops that patrol the area in a white truck.

You've got to got to look up this guy on Fiverr! He can post those flyers for you on his way to someplace each day. I read that he covers like almost half the CBD of Chicago city on his bike each day. He can even show you pictures of your flyers in popular places as proof of the work. I just tried looking up on Fiverr for you but I couldn't find his posting.

very informative read or how about this scheme I came up with and never used go to a college and set up a small table with job offers Spark up some convo with everyone get them on a list to blast with job offers and whatever else. Ive even thought about getting into a highschool doing a little mini seminar and handing out flyers telling everyone make sure you go fill this out

Wow, this idea has a lot of potential. You should try handing out these flyers at a job fair, I wouldn't pay for a booth but just try sticking them on windshields. You'll get a very targeted audience so conversions will probably be insane.
I am going to try this soon in my area, but I will wait for school to start so I can print for free. The only additions I would make to your flyer is QR codes as mentioned before and posibly a pay per call number if I can find one for job offers.

I absolutely agree...it only cost 10 bucks for a domain..and you can get free hosting from freehostia or someone similar for first...
You are going to get NO word of mouth traffic using URL shortner services...even if the product/offer was useful...they will simply recommend the merchant's main URL...
Not only that, but i think your conversions will be WAY better if you have a flyer dedicated to www.FreeJobOffer.com than www.goo.gl/sdg235
Your flyers will look a lot more professional...and it may be worth while simply printing the URL across the center of the flyer...use color paper...
This way it does not look "cheap" (no offense) and it creates curiosity...
Anyway man...good job on taking action and getting some leads out there...hope you get to increase those conversions

Are you just doing like a basic sign that you stick in the ground or hang up on a pole? What exactly are you writing on the sign, is it just the URL or do you have some text with it too?
I'm curious to know how this has been working out for you.
I like the sign idea a lot because people don't just read it and throw it away like they would a flyer on their car.
