[Method] How to restore your Facebook Ad Account Data

What to do if your FB Ad Account is disable?

1. Create new FB Ad Account (You should usually do it!)

2. Go to Power Editor of old account, and click Export: You can export selected campaign or all

3. Open the .csv file to edit: Clear all data in 3 collums: Campaign ID, Ad Set ID, Ad ID (If you do not do this, you can't import)

4. Go to Power Editor of new account and click Import: Now you have your old Ad account back.

This method only works in ban accs for non-compliance with policies or unusual activity?
 
Can you please msg me the screenshots, of step by step of how you did this. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Never mind I didn't use the right program to edit the file.

I was using a wrong program to edit the file so it wasn't showing me columns. I used Excel and got it work. Can i upload the edit file into the banned account and it will work again? Or i need a brand new ad account to upload the file? Thank you for responding so fast

Okay. So what exactly does this do? I will have all the stats that i had on that account? And will the pixel be the same or ill have to use the one from the new account?
 
Don't they track you for doing that and ban the new account?

I have another question, not related to this method, but someone might know something of it.

Can you add the same payment source to the new account, if the old account gets banned?

Like I use a CC with 1 account, it gets banned, can I use the same CC with the new account?

Also, can I use my CC to pay for someone else's campaign on someone else's account?

Does FB asks for documents to verify it's me who owns the payment source?

You have everything from the old account, except pixels. You can add the old account to your new Business Manager then share pixels to a new account.

You should change your CC

Sometimes, FB will notify unusual activity and disable your Ad account.
