Hi OP and everyone!Hello BHW,
Quora is a Goldmine if you know how to use it.
This is a full-blown Guide about Gaining exposure and Making money from Quora.
step: 1-
Open Quora ads manager
Click on "Create Campaign"
Chose your Objective as "Traffic" and Proceed.
Then select "Question Targeting" as your Primary Targeting.
Don't add anything into "Location Targeting"
Now click "Add Questions" in the "Target Questions" section.
Now, enter at most 3 target keywords and click "Submit"
You will get the following suggestions-
Now, if a question has weekly views between 1,000 - 3,0000
It's good to go.
We will take this question as an example - "Why should I save money?"
Now click on the question to be redirected to the place where all the answers are available.
For this question,
Total Answers - 12
Top answer views and upvotes - 1.3k views & 14 upvotes [0.01% upvote/view]
How can your answer rank #1 here?
Just get more than 1.3k views and more than 14 upvotes on your answer.
step: 2-
Writing the Content-
Go to Reddit, find something with a lot of upvotes.
Then rewrite the whole article or post.
Use a lot of images, videos, and infographics.
Your content is ready.
step:3 -
Go to a traffic exchange website like, 10khits.
You will get some signup bonus, 100 visits.
Make 15 more accounts on different websites, there are plenty of these.
Or, you can buy 50k visits for $10.
At the end - 1.5k views [done]
step: 4 -
You will need at least 15 upvotes to rank #1
Go to microworkers, there you can get 15 upvotes for super cheap.
Select region - Asia & Africa
Campaign - Promotion ---> Rate or Vote
Speed- not more than 100
Adjust the speed according to the traffic you are getting, you can change the campaign speed whenever you want.
You have to start with at least 30 tasks, but once you have 15 upvotes, just stop the campaign.
Don't do more than 16.

I'm doing something similar on Quora but I noticed anytime I post a unique answer with an affiliate link to a question, my answer doesn't get a lot of views, Quora algorithm limits the reach. I suspect it's because of the affiliate link inside.
The options I have are to buy a domain a do a redirect but the thing is I'm answering different questions in different niches and that will mean buying many domain names, which is not feasible. The other option is to get a good URL mask to hide my affiliate links - Bitly, Tinyurl, are no longer effective on Quora as the algorithm has caught up with them.
Guys please recommend a good tool to mask my affiliate link on Quora

if we buy domain and then create a lot of subdomains will it work ?
Is it only happening for affiliate links and not for direct links?
My doubt is Quora might be checking for all external links. What do you think?

Quora is a gold mine.
But I would not recommend using fake (ok they are not fake but you get the point) upvotes from microworkers.
Those upvotes are mostly from India/Pakistan etc...
So it may look nice that you have 20 upvotes, but algo will recognize this, and guess what?
Your answer will get pushed/shown mostly to people in those countries.
I noticed that on Quora only some silly memes or nudes probably from horny guys got a lot of upvotes.
My answers got a few or 0 upvotes but still getting nice views, one day had 30k views,
but I spent that day whole day answering questions 10+ hours about 50 or more answers.
So f*** upvotes.
In another thread, a person complained that she had a lot of Indian traffic?
Well with such upvotes what to expect?
But it wouldn't hurt to get US/UK upvotes for sure.
I am still wrapping my head around this?
Either to create fake accs via residential IP and farm them or to approach
USA quora users and politely ask for upvotes, but this is probably against TOS.
Still wrapping my head about that.
Getting nice small traffic 90% the USA and DE(no idea why).
