[METHOD] How To make A customer Say Yes ? [Offline buzz]

IMO. Door 2 door is a waste of time. The time it takes to call on a cold prospect in person, only to find the owner has not arrived yet. You can literally contact 100 businesses. Time management, call management it all about the numbers. tiger woods has hit many amazing shots, but for every magical shot he has hit it has taken him 1000's of hits in practice. You have to set yourself up for success not failure. Door 2 door is good if you are on an appointment in the area, let's say you closed an owner. You can pop into the neighbors and say hey I just met with Barry next door, he loved our program and thought I should stop by here. He said you have a service that could really benefit from my service. Do you have 2 minutes, or get the ownners name for a follow up. You already have an in with the receptionist, when calling back it a personal call. Hey sue, this is bill we met this morning. Is Barry in yet. Works every time.

True, you make a good point. I was coming from. Standpoint of cold calling central London where there's 3 million registered businesses. So from that perspective it's just door after door.

Smaller towns maybe more difficult as you may have to drive everywhere.

^^ I admire any door to door sales professional, as it is the absolute hardest thing to do in sales. Done my fair share of it. I have never been in a huge city before and done it. I imagine in London or NYC etc it could be managed, but man it's a tough gig. I actually bought a passenger van years ago and experimented with driving kids around hanging flyers, what a pain that was. When I come to London I'll buy you a pint

Ever see glengary glenross

Far better than Boiler Room. Al Pacino and Alec Baldwin steal the show.

Talking of "golden leads", anyone wanna share any red hot ready to buy leads?

LOL . . . Thought not. Would be an easy life if that would happen, eh?

Champagne and Cigars!!!

Nice techniques,i read a nice ebook about this,i`m going to find it and post it on the forum. I hope i did not deleted.

I gotta agree. Sales is a tough gig. Door to door and cold calling can be draining and so I have a lot of respect for sales people. Being in sales myself, I hate it but i love it at the same time. You need to have some thick skin. Just my 2 cents...
