There are many many sites that were created in the late 90s early 00s on sites like angelfire, tripod and many other old "free" webhosts.

A huge number of them are long since abandoned but quite happily sit there with their pr3+, DMOZ link etc... just begging for a backlink to your site to be placed.

You're in luck! Many of these sites also contain long since abandoned email addresses from "free" webmail that again are just asking to be re-registered and a password remind sent to them!

Its not easy work (i'm sure you can figure out a quick way of scraping them via scrapebox etc... ;)) but my sites have definitely benefited from this.

note: you may be breaking the law by doing this, but the name of this site is Black Hat SEO!

So, what's the point of the thread now? The title says [method] but I don't see any method description in here.
Will you post your method to reregister those accounts or not ?

just go sign up that email address again at the webmail
go to the tripod/angelfire etc site and request a password reset.
get password login add you link

done........ :proud:

I only see one stupid person here....

Did you not read the method?

it works, isn't easy and is hit and miss but it works.

I have got 5 pr 3+ dmoz listed backlinks through doing this for an hour or two. If getting valuable backlinks is stupid then i'm not sure what your doing on this site....

I can see your theory behind this - but fuck it's an inefficient way to get a link or two.

I just gave it 30 minutes and found nothing. - The same 30 minutes would have found me at least 4 or 5 deleting domains. Ok each one would have cost me $7, but at the end of 30 minutes I may be $35 poorer, but I'll be up 5 PR4 domains.

never said it was efficient. :D

i discovered it trying to get my link on dmoz and i ended up getting control of a few old sites still listed in dmoz.

it works but its very hit and miss
